the suning blame is a bit ridiculous. 4 strikers in this team cost a combinend 45 mil a season. Over 4 seasons, that's nearly 200m of cost.

The problem isnt what we spend, its who we spent it on.

Last match Sanchez on the bench, i guess he will start today, but seems Inzaghi want to play without strikers:yao:

I'm more disappointed in their mentality than anything. This was a winnable game.

Well I think this was about what all the realistic predictions saw coming in to the match. I don’t think we played poorly, especially in the 2nd half. However we’ve seen this story too many times this year. We play good football and this team has some nice pieces, but we are lacking something in these big matches.

- We can’t hurt teams with pace.
- Our CF is as unathletic as you will find at this level.
- Our midfield lacks a physical presence (Vidal actually played really well tonight by his standards, still not enough).
- We lack depth on the bench to change matches

With all that being said, we still have these moments in games where we are basically unplayable. I didn’t think we were going to have that at any point tonight but we did and we forced Klopp into making 4 subs before the 60th minute. We lost this match on 2 set pieces. I think there is something positive to take away from the match despite the result. There is potential in this team if we can make a few key acquisitions in the summer.

I’m not upset with Inzaghi or the boys, this is the big leagues. You won’t find a team a level above Liverpool, they’re on par with City, Bayern, etc in a one off match. We played at essentially our maximum but it’s just not good enough right now.

I was expecting us to play worse than this. We had some good spells, mainly in the second half but well, it is of no use when we do not score.

We have no one in the bench who could make the difference. We need a major revamp in the forward department, as well as in midfield. We have completely forgotten to score since the winter break and that is too sad (and our defence as well have gone down the hill).

Perisic, Hakan, Dumfries had a good game (mainly Perisic). Vidal kind of surprised me, as I expected him to play worse. We should get rid of him and bring in quality replacements in the midfield department next season.

Now, lets focus on Serie, get back to scoring goals and defend properly.

Sorry mate, are you talking about the guy who just scored a screamer against Roma couple of days ago? You seem a bit lost to tbh.

Oh please stop defending fucking Suning.Enough already. You're gonna blame what, fkn 36 year old Dzeko, fkn grandpa Sanchez or maybe Inzaghi??Would they be here if fkn Suning has money to invest in this club?Fuck Suning and thats it.With them we wont have any success in Seria A especially CL in future. Like I said no money no glory.Thats a modern football, not fkn tactics or something else. If Suning have no money and there is no chance they'll have it in a future they should sell this club to someone who can bring this club where it belongs,to be in top 10 teams in Europe.Thats it for me tonight. There's no fkn way I gonna blame Inzaghi and boys, they did it everything they could. Forza Inter!

Frustrating how we played on the edge 1 on 1 and they didn’t hurt us……just to concede 2 unacceptable goals.

Inzaghi is doing great at how he wants us to play…. Spend that money and get him a top forward and quality bench…. Idk who but Not scammaca tho.

Vidal was pretty good tbh and he fights, Barella would not have made a difference. Atleast not THE difference.

Brozovic wasnt great tbh, he is great against small teams, but rarely shows up in the big games from what ive seen. Atleast not in europe, not sure if games in serie slow qualifies as 'big' these days.

Dzeko and Lautaro simply doesnt work. Lautaro worked with Lukaku because Lukaku could receive the ball with his back to the goal and still beat his man and then set up and/or free space for lautaro. Dzeko is basically in a wheelchair with 2 punctured wheels, its ok for serie slow, aka serie a, but not top level.

Sad loss for Inter, player for player, they are better than this, but the heavily outdated serie a football is simply too easy for modern teams to play against.

45 MILLION A YEAR.

The players we had are a failure. Not the money we spent.

That's 2x 15m a year strikers + 2x 7.5m a year strikers. It's more than enough to give us good players

Scamacca on a 4 year contract at 3m net, for example, is 11m a year.

We could have spent money intelligently, we just spent it on dog shit like Correa, Dzeko, etc.

For the price of Dzeko we could have had Scamacca. Instead we have aa guy who has scored 3? goals in 3 months... For 14 mil a season, we could practically have signed Luis Diaz. Instead, we have a guy who has scored in 2 matches all season.

I think the issue might just be that they're all a bit shit.

It's like Schrodinger's cat, every forward we have is better than the ones currently on the pitch until they're subbed on.

And speaking of things that could be in two states of being at the same time, where the fuck is Caicedo? We signed him and apparently he exists but I haven't fucking seen him.

This has little to do with gameplay. It has almost everything to do with mentality. When you have Salzburg that scores at home 1-1 vs. Bayern, the excuses run out for us.

The issue with having an inferiority complex is that it starts to become a self fulfilling prophecy.

By touching the ball you mean losing the ball right?
Actually, I said touch the ball but I actually meant even made himself available to touch the ball.
Lukaku would've hid behind Van Dijk and Konaté and waited for the ball to come to his feet. A ball that would've never come.

The man bottles games against Championship sides and you wonder what his fat *ss would've done against Van Dijk and such.

If Suning has money we would have today Lukaku,Hakimi,Hakan plus Scamaca,Fratessi,SMS,even Vlahović maybe. What good they did, they did,and that was when they had fkn money. Now they dont have money,Marotta cant buy us Scamacca this winter mercato, why?Cause they have no money. We cant even bring fkn Nandez lol...Our depth is shit cause of that. 45 miliona a year is shit if you want beat fkn Liverpool.Shite.
