With all our difficulties, losing Lukakwho, Hakimi and Eriksen and not gettin proper replacements, still its on Inzaghi if we cant beat fkn Genoa, Sassuolo or Salernitana at home. If we fail there he is just not good coach for us, just like Conte who is not good enough for spurs.

Good win for the team and him. That will keep the sharks from circling for a while, at least. Now the only decision he has to make is who do you start against Liverpool. My advice, look at the overall picture.

I don't think he has any alternative. Perisic will go back to the starting lineup. It will be Dzeko+Lautaro up front. The question is whether we should take a leap of faith with Mr Instagram again, or go straight with Alexis in a 3-4-1-2 from the start

Like your thinking, I have no problem going with for it, until the the match gets mathematically unfeasible. Then it's time to cut bait and go for the Coppa and Scudetto.

The other thing I notice is that Skriniar and Bastoni venture forward much less. Maybe it's Inzaghi's plan to fix our leaky defence. Not sure how I feel about it cos it seems like we just get more toothless in attack while we're still exposed to high pressing. It's not an easy choice for an Italian coach to make. But if we were to become an attacking team, better just give our RCB/LCB the freedom to make overlapping runs again. Actually it'll give us one more body when we try to play the ball out from the back. Our play was much more fluid in the first half of the season thanks to this.

Sorry to say it but Limone is mediocre coach. Hope I'm wrong but very rare I'am.
Eh, this is a definition of a knee jerk reaction and even you know that. We had a slump even in the two short years of Mourinho,

If you watched Inter in the last 10 years, I'm sure you can differentiate between mediocre, good and great coaches. Inzaghi makes Inter play fun, almost gung ho football at the expense of defensive stability and has a VERY incomplete squad. I'll even go as far to say that he is doing better than expected with the limitations or maybe the other clubs are having issues as well, otherwise Juventus would be +15 points already. I'm sure we can contend for the title with Inzaghi, even in this season, but it will be very hard to win and we'll have to have some immaculate games against rivals and a bit of luck as well.

I feel it's too soon to put so much hate on Inzaghi. Just hopefully he gets a better squad to operate with or we aren't a big club anymore. This is a travesty that needs to be abolished and Inzaghi deserves better. Ever since Mazzarri I've been sure that 352/343 is the way for Inter, at least for the foreseeable future. It just works for Italy.

Losing to Sassuolo at home and managing not to score against Genoa was the trigger for me. I was defending him untill then. Lets see how he does till end, hope he continues like first half of season, our competition is ridiculous and if we manage to lose scudetto to this rube while we were at one point plus 15pts from them then Inzaghi is a clown. If that scenario happens God forbide.

Too early to extend his contract. Does that mean that they are happy with him and losing scudetto is not failure and top 4 is our goal?

Right now this feels like rewarding failure. If he wins the league sure give him an extension. But after that February he put in i do not see how he has earned and deserved a raise.

He's considered to have met the goals set by the management when he was hired.

Secure top 4, reach CL last 16 and go for the cup (still possible). And we're also on a Scudetto run, so perhaps exceeding this, hence a new deal.
