Why shouldn't di marco count? No youngsters at big 3 Italian clubs go from youth to the main team .

The reason we don't promote youngsters from the youth system is likely they aren't good enough.

The youth system does produce a few who are good for serie a teams but not good enough for Inter.

Tell me which player from our youth system or loaned out youth players who would make a difference?

How is it that only Serie A clubs have this problem though? Other top teams in other leagues integrate young players all the time. Then they come and score against us. There has to be some players that are good enough to make an impact in the top 3 in this league. No teams in this league are THAT special at the moment.

I think this kind of proves the point though right? Not a single Serie A team has more than 3. Meanwhile, only City and Atletico have less than that.

Yea but City is a super team with a blank checkbook. We don’t have that luxury.

I mean how many minutes did Rano, Caeicdo, Vecino and kolbarov get combined this season Or who ever the fk our 3rd goalie is…. It’s like what 10 -15 million in wages.

We couldn’t have promoted a youth player to eat bench instead?

But wouldn't you want youngsters to be playing minutes? They're not getting better if they just sit all year.

Is salcedo playing at spezia?

I mean Pinamonti mentioned all the things he learned from lukaku and conte….

Better them training with the main team then training with Genoa or Spezia and getting 100 minutes all season

You dont build a career in football by eating bench at a big club. You build a career in football by getting as many minutes as possible on the pitch. None of our first team were 19/20/21 as a bench player at a big club. There's a reason for that. Those guys dont make it.

we could have option to not see this primavera if the owner give more warchest to Inter for bring new proper and quality players into the club.

milan owner would splash warchest into window around 300 mil euro, i think we should follow them but not reaching those 300 mil numbers.

imo i think 50 mil- 150 mil euro should be enough, add free agent (quality) ones.. and propose some loan into targeted players.

cmon suning please its time to use big profit from Lukaku and Hakimi sale as soon as possible....

Maldini? Are we talking about paolo or jnr? The kid is nowhere near good enough for any of the big boys.

Will give them credit for donna and calabria but that's hardly a massive amount produced.
Milan has produced quality Serie A players last seasons. Apart from Donnarumma and Calabria, there are Locatelli, Pessina, Cristante, El Sha, Did Sciglio. Pobega has also impressed this season.
What we've got, Duncan, Biraghi and Pinamonti hopefully.

Pessina and El sharawy never played for Milan youth teams. They were produced by monza and genoa respectively.

If we are going to go by players who play in serie a Inter has their share of players.

These are the Inter former Primavera in serie a: vid belec, joel obi, bonazzoli, vergani, salcedo, manaj, modolo, benassi, Pinamonti, Vanheusden, destro, faraoni, bessa, zappa, bardi, mbaye, falcineli, biraghi, Duncan, Santon, zaniolo, bonucci.

Inter produces enough players who make it to serie a but we don’t produce good enough for Inter.

Zaniolo and Salcedo are not Inter's product at all. As I said, apart from Duncan and Biraghi (Pinamonti maybe one day), the others are nothing special.

Played for Inter Primavera is an Inter product for me.

Disagree if you like.

If the replacement will be the likes of Kolarov or Acerbi, then let's just keep Rano for one more year. With fam and friends in Milan, Rano should honestly just reduce his wage voluntarily and stick around. Win win for all.

That`s a very convenient strategy from an economical point of view, I could see our management banking on this.

Andrea Ranocchia could stay at the club beyond the end of the current season:
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri could decide to exercise their option to extend the 33-year-old’s contract past the end of the summer, though he would want playing time if this were the case.

The Nerazzurri have an option to extend the one-year deal that Ranocchia signed last summer by a further season, and they are yet to make their decision on whether to allow him to leave at the end of his contract to save on his wages or to extend with him.

However, things could also depend on whether the club intend to offer the defender significant playing time.

This season, Ranocchia has barely played more than five hundred minutes across all competitions, and if Simone Inzaghi tells him that this situation isn’t likely to change then he could decide to instead move to a club where he will receive playing time.
Clearly he will be a backup if this happens.
