PS5 seems fast, sure. But in general PS3 and PS4 took forever.

Yup, they did. But I thought we were talking about Switch and the current consoles.

Ps5 is almost too fast. Lol Playing fifa you literally don't have time to look at the opponents ultimate team team, it just loads almost straight into the game. Its on the screen for like 2 seconds.

try playing the PS4 version, maybe it's a bit slower

with FIFA, the thing that matters the most is the formation you and your opponents play. The last few FIFA games have this 5-3-2 that seems almost unbeatable

Wait for real? I have the same issue as CC.........
Basically i got to move the saved date of a game every time i download a new one and it s not like i have a ton of games on my PS5
Have like GT7, Fifa 22, Rachet and Clank, F1 22, NBA 22 and Elden Ring and the thing is full.....
Probably my only issue with the PS5 then again it aint really a issue with the cloud storage you get and als as you said an SSD is not that expensive...

Maybe I don't notice Save Game files because it uploads with PS Plus? I don't want to have Save Game files on disk because if something happens to the disk, that's it

Go check the settings. I also have all pictures and videos instantly uploaded instead of having on the disk

this is one of the high cost SSD disks for PS5, but it's also the fastest on the market, people keep recommending


140 dollars for a 500GB SSD disk? That's overall a great price!

Bought CoD Vanguard.

Nice game but I have the feeling there is zero imagination nowadays. The missions look the same as before, I really thought I had played some missions before. Overall I think the game is okayish but not worth the money.

If you like shooters, pls do give Titanfall 2 and Doom Eternal a chance (if you haven't played before)

Less rails, more fun.

Also, VRR is now activated on PS5, will try later.

I'm leaning (again) on buying the Switch. Got a few trips in place over the next few weeks so it's probably the right time to get it. Tomorrow's probably the day.

I'm probably going to get 3 games with it.
- A Super Mario game. I want one that's a nice experience and has good gameplay. Not sure what's out there. Nothing too repetitive (ie Mario Kart) for the time being.
- A Zelda game. I hear Breath of the Wild is the best one out there. Any other suggestions?
- No idea, but some interesting adventure game I suppose.

Mario Odyssey, Zelda Breathe of the Wild (WII u game), Mario Kart (Wii U game) are the only games on that system.

Smash brothers is cool tho

No other game really comes close to BotW tbh.

Don't know what kind of an adventure game are you searching for? Monkey Island type or more of a platformer like Ori and the Blind Forest?

I know Monkey Island. Not that kind of game. Something with a more open world but with some semi-structured story.
No clue what Ori or the Blind Forest is

Btw went today to a store for another reason and since they also sell these I checked it out. Didn't go through with it because they didn't have the Zelda game. And they only had a dance game on the package deal.

A really good story game is Disco Elysium, where the choice you make really matters. Maybe check a youtube review to see if it sounds interesting.

Good news, everybody, any games that aren't 30fps locked can have more framerates on PS5.

I wouldn’t leave out Doom (2016), which in my opinion is even better than Eternal. Both are excellent FPS games though, thoroughly enjoyed both of them.

Doom Eternal edges it for me because of great extra maps and Marauders

But yeah, Doom 2016 is lovely as well

I’m heading to a boring train ride now. Good time for some laid back gaming talk. What’s the most difficult game you’ve ever played?
I as a casual gamer personally have never touched the notoriously difficult games like the Souls series. I think Doom Eternal is pretty high up there, at least in the beginning I brutally got my ass handed to myself dozens of times. Another series that one wouldn’t typically think of would be the original Ratchet & Clank series on PS2. The first one had some difficult levels and horrible checkpoints were you could lose 10 minutes of progress every time you died. I replayed it on PS3 and to this day I was never able to defeat the final boss. R&C 3 got pretty challenging late in the game and Dr. Nefarious was a brutal final boss. Gotta have a perfect run to beat him. Other than that I think Undertale had a few tough battles, but I completed it nevertheless. The spider girl took me twenty tries easily but that could be because the controller was too slow for that fight. I think at least a 3rd of my deaths were literally on the last obstacle.
The final boss on the Alternative pacifist ending was a tough nut to crack as well. I couldn’t ever imagine beating Sans on the evil walkthrough. That fight looks completely insane on YouTube
