This, I know it pains me to say this but he's not THAT bad coming off the bench. Most of my hate probably came from the frustration of Conte insisting to play him when he was playing like shit and we had fucking eriksen on the bench. I'd keep him and focus on offloading vecino insteadI'm against selling him. We still need a Brozovic replacement and we will need a replacement for Vidal (and probably Vecino should we need another midfielder). We can't afford all these replacements.
I'm sure we will offer him an extension. No need to let him go for free.He will probably sit out (quite literally) his contract, only one year left. Don't see him leaving unless he suddenly wants to play more, here he should continue to be 6th choice midfielder at best.
Vecino is a free agent. This, I know it pains me to say this but he's not THAT bad coming off the bench. Ok thank God for thatVecino is a free agent.
Not really surprising. Sarri had coached Vecino at Empoli and for a reason only he knows he rates him. Sarri likes bringing players he has coached and knows well. He brought his ex Empoli players, Zielinski and Mario Rui, to Napoli. He wanted Rugani for years. He took Jorginho with him at Chelsea. He wanted Vecino ever since he was at Chelsea. He wanted Loftus Cheek of Chelsea at Lazio last summer. The funny part is that Sarri wants Vecino at Lazio and they are apparently prepared to offer him a four year contract!
This absolutely blows me away! But they can have him!
