Did a couple on good things at both ends of the pitch, so good for him and Inter.

I must say, I think that's the best match I've seen him in in a long time. Contributed at both ends, must be playing for a contract extension.

Nah, he really has his moments vs minnows.

Not every one has the ability to play good every time he needs a contract, if that was the case, we'd see Vecino having a Perisic level of a season now and we'd won the league with +10 points. But Vecino is being Vecino, and Gagsy is being Gagsy even with their contracts ending this/next year.

No. Throughout his 5(!) years here, no team has shown any serious interest in him. The only reports I remember were that fucking Limone of all people  wanted him at Lazio. With his contract expiring at the end of next season we'd fetch probably max 7m or so.

I'm against selling him. We still need a Brozovic replacement and we will need a replacement for Vidal (and probably Vecino should we need another midfielder). We can't afford all these replacements.

He will probably sit out (quite literally) his contract, only one year left. Don't see him leaving unless he suddenly wants to play more, here he should continue to be 6th choice midfielder at best.

This, I know it pains me to say this but he's not THAT bad coming off the bench. Most of my hate probably came from the frustration of Conte insisting to play him when he was playing like shit and we had fucking eriksen on the bench. I'd keep him and focus on offloading vecino instead

I'm sure we will offer him an extension. No need to let him go for free.

The funny part is that Sarri wants Vecino at Lazio and they are apparently prepared to offer him a four year contract!

This absolutely blows me away! But they can have him!

If Gasperini moves to a new team, maybe he will ask to get him on loan.

Not really surprising. Sarri had coached Vecino at Empoli and for a reason only he knows he rates him. Sarri likes bringing players he has coached and knows well. He brought his ex Empoli players, Zielinski and Mario Rui, to Napoli. He wanted Rugani for years. He took Jorginho with him at Chelsea. He wanted Vecino ever since he was at Chelsea. He wanted Loftus Cheek of Chelsea at Lazio last summer.

Some coaches prefer going for the safe option of players they have already worked with instead of taking risks.

Right now he, Sensi and Agoume are the only options from the bench we got. And i am sure Gagliardini will be the only one out of those to be here next season as well.
The good thing is that it should not be hard to replace Vecino and Vidal. Pretty much anyone will do better.
