It's nothing less then a disgrace that the club lost the title to this Milan team who are Inferior. I blame Inzaghi for failing to manage the team properly in the month after the winter break. The club should fire him and hire a coach who's better tactically.

I think Inzaghi did overall good job, but made some mistakes too.

I didn’t like his subs most of the games, but I think he improved end of the campaign, as I think he got more familiar with our players or their limitations?

Dzeko was played too much and more rotation should have seen earlier. Lautaro-Dzeko did not find needed chemistry and that cost us points.

Sensi loan was a big mistake and maybe if Inzaghi had given him more chances when he was fit he would not wanted to leave? But instead Gags had more changes than Sensi. Marotta mistake was not replacing him.

Im still not sure do Inzaghi have enough man managment skills or personality to win players full confidence like Conte, Mourinho, Pep, Klop… they can get in players mind and get more out of them. February-March slump was too long and those can’t happen in the future at this level! Barella also seemed much better and had more confidence under Conte!

I think we had much better squad than anyone other team in Serie A, so in that way I don’t see he exeeded, but maybe under performed just a little?

Don’t get me wrong I enjoy his forward going style of play and we create lot of changes, but we only exploit maybe ~40% of those changes? Maybe its man managment/mental or individual thing or all of those things… can it get better?

But yeah I still think Inzaghi is right man to lead this project and I hope we can improve our scoring with new players!
This. Weird subs, often late, often defensive...

The Dzeko-Lautaro thing, I don't think we fans all agreed on something and were actually right ever in known human history, yet Simone somehow continued boneheadedly pairing them week after week. I'd go as far as to terminate Dzeko's contract. He is finished and I mean it. We are playing a man down every time he's leading the attack. Can't put himself into positions, can't beat his man. Even when he wins an aerial duel he's just heading the ball nowhere. Can't hold the ball properly. What is he even good for?

Sensi loan was indeed a massive mistake. I remember how I said that we'll be sorry for letting him go on an Inter Worldwide live after the transfer window and got laughed at... Why would we get rid of our only Brozovic substitute just before the hardest stretch of the season?! Cause he "wants to play" or cause he's "always injured", or so he can gain fitness so we can sell him? Fuck that. Should've been more egoistical as a team and just kept him on the bench, even if he didn't play or was injured, Caicedo style. If he could be clutch enough to help us squeeze 2-3 more points, just like he did against Empoli... but I digress.

Simone is decent but needs to be better. You just can't lose the Scudetto to one of the youngest teams in the league led by Stefano fucking Pioli... yet he made him look like he's the Italian Klopp. I mean, the guy even tattooed the title, as it will be his last.

Blaming the coach for a collective failure is a common Italian practice. Even if you are not Italian, following an italian team for a while make you go that way. Juventus and Napoli both have a better squad and players than Milan or even us in some positions. Yet they finished the season empty handed, falling on 3rd and 4th spot. That's even a bigger disgrace. They didn't fire their coaches and we don't need to either, when we have more important issues to fix and many holes to fill in our squad than changing coaches like a diaper!

Simone Inzaghi is partly to blame for some decisions he made, which IMO were nowhere that fatal and decisive in us losing points. Our two main issues this season was 1) lack of depth, 2) poor finishing. If our attackers were as clinical as Milan's we were going to walk the league. But we failed to do so and lost the title. Blaming Inzaghi for having misfiring forwards and having bums like Vidal, Vecino and Gagliardini as midfield alternatives is the last thing we should do.

But I understand. Blaming the coach alone and wanting him fired is the easiest approach, which mostly doesn't work or even backfire. There are people who don't even watch matches. They just check the results and make judgments.

I think we should look it this way. Inzaghi did a goo job, exceeding the expectations. While what Milan did was almost extraordinary, MANY didn't place them even at top4 before the season. This was close to Leicester stuff than Milan being back at the top.

Milan having amazing season and Inzaghi exceeding expectations can be both true at the same time.

the meeting between Zhang, management and Inzaghi is ongoing in Inter's headquarter. They will sum up the last season and make plan for ongoing mercato.
Last summer's fuckups started with that meeting, so let's hope it will be better this year.

You had everything: a squad who just won the league, your main rival in shambles who sold their best player, clubs like Atalanta, Roma Lazio are not as strong as they were in previous seasons, your CEO just weakened your only competitor by signing their key player for you. If you couldn't seize this opportunity you probably never will.

Maybe he will win scudetto one day when he gets old like Pioli, provided he will also have someone like Ibra, manmanaging for him, but not anytime soon. He is just not made for a big club.

Let's not forget he got a team without 3 of its starters.

We sold our best players also. Management have reduced the quality gap between us and Milan when they sold Hakimi and Lukaku.

Pathetic indeed, they are trying to paint him as some kind of a loser when he delivered 2 cups in 1 year LOL.

What about "Dr. Max Terror Zero Tituli"? - highest payed coach in Serie A that barely made it to the UCL spots and lost all finals.

Inzaghi, a gentleman to the last. Good for him and for the face of Inter. Maybe can use the thing as a lawn ornament. Who cares, really.

Or give that to Steven Zhang to stick that in his tiny ass.

Conte get that reward after finishing last in Champions League as far as I remember. So it was fully deserved ;)
On that note, did Pioli get one this season for doing the same?
