I trust in Bremer to pick Inter over Spurs any day. Fucking stay in Torino for one more season if it comes down to that, then you can get the preferred move.

Yeah it really didn't make any sense if he wanted the move. I guess he wanted to "give" the club some guarantees that the price won't be like 10-15m€ this summer. But this BS by Cairo is something Bremer probably didn't expect. I don't know, maybe his agent was involved in that too. Wants to be in good terms with Cairo so he didn't "want to see" any dangers in this extension.

Anyway, I still believe we will sign him.

It's probably one of those media tricks where asking price is elevated to 50m, the deal closes at 30-35m rather than the 25m agreed and everyone says what a great deal this was...

I wouldn't say probably. Possible of course. Could be also Cairo just playing his position. If Bremer is booked as they say, it might be just a long chase.

If some figure was agreed earlier, Bremer blew that with his extension. What is probable is that we couldn't and can't do any deals before players going out.

If there's really a 15m release clause that gets activated in 2023 i can't see Cairo insisting on 50m evaluation for Bremer. It's basically all or nothing for him. Too much of a risk. Then again Cairo isn't exactly reasonable when it comes to prices. He insisted on 100m for Belotti and now he's going to lose him for free. I am expecting this to drag on for long.

I would love us to sign Bremer but I was hoping it to be at the cost of De Vrij and NOT Skriniar.

Bastoni-Bremer-Skriniar is what we need, if we want to be in the hunt of Scudetto and progress to further rounds of Champions League. Defence is the foundation for us and we were supposed to be focusing on midfield, wingbacks and attack!!

I really hope we are able to keep both Bastoni and Skriniar, buy Bremer. Skriniar is our most experienced defender (keeping in mind that De Vrij will be sold - in last year of contract - eldest of the 3 - went thru a bad phase for a long time during mid of last season - feel he is replacable, etc etc).

If our owners weren't on the cusp of bankruptcy, this would be the appropriate sporting decision. Unfortunately, we no longer make sporting decisions, we make financial decisions.

Guys, please stop being delusional about our situation. There are some rumors about SDV, Dumfries, Hakan and let say Dimarco and ZERO offers. The only real bids are for Skriniar and Bastoni so far. We cannot make the money required without one big sale, because nobody will give 25 mln for De Vrij, 25 mln for Dimarco, 40 mln for Dumfries and 30 mln for Hakan. If we are lucky, we can sell one of above mentioned guys for that price, but definitely not all of them.

I becoming less convinced and more confused about Bremer deal and the "new fiscally responsible " Inter.

Yeah, aware of that but still "hoping" that the management can somehow find a solution. 🤞

"Bremer has chosen Inter. Inter need to find and agreement with Torino."
