No one in their right mind is giving us a cent for this guy. Our only option is to let him wind down his contract on loan before we inevitably golden handshake him.

Thanks Conte.
nah, i think its much easier to get rid of him than someone like Dalbert. There should be at least one German club that will want him. The problem is also that Inter values these shit players more than they are worth. Thats why we never sold shit players, cause there unfortunately is no retarded club that would give us 8M or whatever we wanted for Dalbert. I on the other hand would take 1M and be happy to get rid of shit like that.

Di Marzio saying his agent was at the HQ today and that the next 10 days will be crucial to resolve the situation. He could also get a new contract.
I guess this is about ammortisation cost - extending his contract for a longer period on the total same amount?

Something like this would allow him to go on loan easier and potentially win more time for the club to find a buyer.

It helps us reduce his cost to Inter on the balance sheet every year. We did it a few times - but its basically financal doping. We did it with Gabigol, for example, the impact is that we lose less money for a couple of years but the required sale price to break even doesnt drop as quickly as you hope. The end impact is that we have to loan him out longer than we want to.

I think it's time to take the capital losses. Extending his contract won't accomplish much because he's unlikely to reach his actual net book value, which is currently €8.4 million. If we could sell for even 4 million euros, which I believe most Bundesliga clubs can afford, that would suffice.

The problem is finding a club willing to accept his current wages. He's significantly overpaid at Inter. No big club is dumb enough to be interested, and no small club wants to make him their highest paid player. Will he accept a pay cut?

Same old story every year.

The problem (obviously as you of all people know) is every pound of write down is another pound of capital gains we need :D

gds is on crack thinking we gonna get 10M for Lazaro and 5M for Dalbert. More like 5M for both of them. People have eyes and they know these two losers aint worth much.

Yeah, the purchase of Lazaro was a weird one by Conte. Came in July played partially in about 10 matches then shipped of to Newcastle iirc in January, and has been loaned out ever since.
