Milan's scudetto is the equivalent of taking a long shot from 40m out and score. There is skill in that, sure, but you won't score that goal twice no matter how many attemps you have. Play the last season again 100 times and Milan would win about 5 times max.

Play 20-21 season again 100 times and we would win at least 80 times.

Of course I'm totally objective and non biased, you're allowed to have opinions but you're wrong if you disagree.

You could look at it both ways. Milan won the league while not being the best team, therefor surely they'll take a step back. Or they won the league while not being the best team, therefor they'll be even better this year when they improve in their weak positions.

Well said.

@Bluenine do you consider Leicester's season a fluke? Because I do. And many others do too.

Its not a fluke, its one of the greatest achievements in football ever. Its like Salernitana wins scudetto next season.

You cant call a scudetto in which the gap was 2 games plus a fluke but you can call a scudetto that was separated by 2 points a fluke especially considering the amount of games we played plus our schedule was much more difficult

A long shot going in can be a fluke. A game or a KO win can also be a fluke. A Scudetto won over 38 games CANNOT be a fluke. Milan's consistency in the final few months was remarkable and the hallmark of champions. The fact that Milan did it with players not as good as Inter's makes it even more deserving, not less.

Ditto Leicester's title win. They were simply amazing that season. It is not their fault that some of the top sides had an inconsistent season, in fact it is to their credit that they made some really expensively built sides look mediocre.

We lost guys, our team & coach bottled it to some extent. Lets not be sore losers.

They had many games, where the luck was much more on their side, than the opposite. Two matches against Inter - a draw and a win. That is 4 points, and with the performance on the field, they actually deserved maybe 1, no more. Lazio's match - two mistakes in a row by the defenders and Tonali pushing Acerbi with two hands, just before to score the winner? Fio's goalkeeper mistake, which led to the winning goal? Radu's fuck up against Bologna? Those are 3 major defensive errors in very short time (two rounds iirc), which benefited only one team - Milan. Sorry, but this is rarely to be seen.

I wouldn't call a league title to be fluke. But it's more like Inter lost it than Milan won it imo. We were wasting chances left and right while they were taking the one or 2 they were getting.

It's like @qb4ever_2k said, if this season is repeated the chances of them doing it again won't exceed %5.

Most Likely Inter Squad 2022-23 based on rumours:

hIPMNSl.jpg

This looks good, except:
- Pls get rid of Gagsy. There is no point in having him as the 6th midfielder. If we cannot afford anyone, put a primavera kid there.
- Darmian as the backup LWB makes me want to throw up. Can't we get a LWB like Udogie instead of Bellanova?
- Still not convinced by Correa. I would much rather sell him than Dzeko, who would make a better back up for Lukaku.

My friend, if we'll have that team for next season that will be great, I expect much worse. No Dybala for a start.

"Fluke" implies you think Milan won more due to luck than skill? I think the complete opposite. Milan won by being consistent which is the hallmark of champions, and their Scudetto was much of a "fluke" as Inter's last year.
They did. Besides Inter bottling it , they had immense luck in the run in. Fiorentina gifting them a win, lazio gifting them a win verona gifting them a way back into the game. Show me the last time a side had that much luck in the last 5/6 games.

I will never give a team credit who's game plan consisted of sit deep and give it to leao...

Inter lost it same as Lazio in 1998/199 Milan didn't win it.

Just like us with Lukaku and Hakimi last season.

BREAKING: #Juventus have reach an agreement today with AS Roma over the Transfer of #Zaniolo. Agreed fee is between €45-50m.
#Roma has verbally accepted the offer. Contract signing and official announcement soon

Anyone to confirm this? I saw it in the net, no source was mentioned.

Easiest is to just check Fabrizio Romano, Gianluca Di Marzio and Alfredo Pedulla twitter accounts. If something like that happens, they are reporting it already.

Juventus have reportedly secured the signature of Genoa left-back Andrea Cambiaso, beating Inter, Atalanta, Sassuolo and more.
Inter seemed to be the favourites a couple of weeks ago when meeting his agent at the club headquarters.
However, Juventus overtook them and Sportitalia now claim a deal has been struck between the two teams.

Genoa will receive €3.5m cash plus ownership of defender Radu Dragusin, who had already been on loan at Marassi.
Dragusin is currently rated €3.5m so that`s a total of 7M.

Fiorentina seem to have convinced Real Madrid to let Luka Jovic join them on a dry loan, paying half his salary.
The fact Real Madrid would pay 50 per cent of his €6m per season salary was always on the cards.

The main issue being debated was Real Madrid wanted Fiorentina to take on an obligation to buy at the end of the season, or at least an option to buy.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the discussions finally reached a conclusion with the Merengues accepting that this will be a dry loan.
Risky move but on good economical terms. Let`s see if Jovic still wants to play football

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly agreed personal terms with both Inter defender Milan Skriniar and LOSC midfielder Renato Sanches, a target for Milan.
Director Leonardo and coach Mauricio Pochettino are making way for Luis Campos and Christophe Galtier, both of whom used to work for LOSC.

It is because of that rapport it’s reported by multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia and Le Parisien that PSG managed to convince Renato Sanches to join them rather than Milan.

The offer on the table is believed to be just €10m, less than the €15m plus bonuses that the Rossoneri were ready to pay, but PSG continue talks with Lille.

According to Get French Football News, PSG are also confident they have agreed personal terms with Inter defender Skriniar.

7M! Why that's golden handshake money;)
Not even enough, as Vidal + Sanchez will cost the club 8M. So let`s hope Zaniolo is sold for more...
