What happened to the clause that allowed us to terminate his contract for 4m? I guess another media bullshit.
That was probably available until 30/6

Personally, I feel this should be a message to our management: as a club, Inter need to stay away from veteran players with high wages. And if they want to go down that track, they should only offer 1 year contracts so the player and their contribution can be assessed come the end of the season. Inter's default position should be that management will look at a young player before they go down the veteran option road.

Sanchez stayed at Inter for a season too long and there is every chance that his pride could lead to us losing out on Dybala.

Every season, there is a piece of shit substandard player that we need to get off our books or veteran that is on too good a wicket and does not want to give it up.

It absolutely needs to change and the clown from Roma is our newest shit addition that we will not be able to shift at the end of this season.
Yeah I think we should change the strategy now. Specially as our core is mature enough already. Not going full Milan mode but still, should change it bit by bit. Mkhi is one example of this but he's at least on a lower deal and there's the clause next summer to get rid of him if he doesn't play enough. These type of clauses needs to added to protect the club better and eventually get rid of the veteran deals completely unless the veteran is REALLY good.

The issue isn't signing these type of players it's the contract. You either need a shorter deal or a get out clause. Vidal had a rescission clause and mkhi has one if he doesn't reach a set amount of games. So seems they changed post Alexis.

who is the veteran out there said really good? i can't think any, fossil are fossil, it's impossible turn a fossil into a gold, of course any veteran players would come to inter for accept heavy paycheck, making this club into his retirement home, and make this club get more deficit every single season by paying those fossils.

just remember that he is not at fault for Dybala not being here, before anybody starts hating on Sanchez for that reason

Now theres infinite time to come up with a solution for his termination.
And you already know that the solution wont be any different than if it happened 2 months ago.

This is a prime example of why successful clubs, like Chelsea, refuse to give big money to aging players.

Unfortunately, this is about the best we can do with Suning at the helm and the Italian economy in the gutter.

I'm reaching to a point to say just keep him as the fifth forward if he's reluctant to go for anything paid less than his current salary.

There isnt really any point in trying to get rid of him now after Dybala is gone.

He is still alot better than Corea.

Keep Sanchez and loan Corea out and hope he has a decent season so he can leave next summer.

Inzaghi doesn't like Sanchez.

So it's like a new signing (LANS) by paying Sanchez to fuck off.

:awyeah:

After losing Dybala, watch us terminate Sanchez' contract and then loan some mediocre striker with expensive obligation to buy, find out that he's mediocre, and get stuck with him for 5 years.

Well yeah, like Skriniar and Bastoni have been pushed out the door this window, right?

Goes both ways.
Yeah I was joking ;)

Players like Gags, Vecino and now Sanchez they don’t get that kind of money from anywhere else and are happy to sit in the bench and collect the money. No hunger or ambition. I understand good money, nice city, good food, fashion…

When it comes to Bastoni/Skriniar club has not ”pushed” them out at any time. We got offers for them and we need the money, so they are talking to all parties. It seemed like Bastoni did not want to leave to Spurs so he will stay. Maybe Inzaghi also wanted to keep him as there are limited market for good left footed cb’s?

But its normal that every team have to inform players if they get an offer and then the situation are valued for all parties. I think Inter have informed Skriniar of our financial situation and he understand that and is willing to go to PSG. Now Inter are waiting to PSG offer that ~65-70m, but it has not happened.

But usually there are no pushing anybody out of the club. Icardi and Radja was different story and that you can call pushing someone out of the club.
