Nah, even if we didn't get Lukaku, Bremer was still too far for us. Dybala, sure, you can make that argument.

We had a choice for one of Lukaku or Dybala. Inzaghi and managment went for Lukaku. I think we might be glad about that choise if we see Dybala missing half of the season with injuries? Lukaku bring us much needed speed and counter attack ability, which we lacked last season. Lukaku is also more natural scorer than Dybala and have good connection with Lautaro. So I think that was right move in the end, even if I was against it at first! I think Dzeko and Correa are good subs to have as I expect LaLu play 75-80% of the games.

Also Dybala crying end of his last game was :yao2:

At least Lukaku wanted to come here and he is no dirty Juventino! Lukaku can also create space for other strikers/midfield. We could see Barella/Hakan/Mkhi score more next season?

My first choice start of the merecato was Bastoni and Skriniar staying and now that is a possibility, so missing Bremer might be a blessing? But we still need see how end of the window go? Those big offers might come in the end of the merecato, but do we have a enough time to replace those who might leave? I also think Casadei will be good player for the future, so I’m glad if we can keep hold of him after Bremer deal failed.

If we can get Milenkovic or similar quality cb and keep De Vrij for his last season I think we have improved our defence. I rate Milenkovic higher than Rano.

Our defence was second best (one goal behind Milan) even when De Vrij had a average season and difficult year overall with those legal battles. We might also see better version of De Vrij this season?

Lazaro also seemed sharp at left wingback role and could be useful next season? Dumfries might be sold with Pinamonti? Dumfries offer might come after world cup? But I think Gosens, Bellanova, Darmian and Lazaro can do the job.

I’m liking our midfield depth as Asllani seems good enough to cover Brozovic which we lacked last season. I think Mhkitaryan will need some time to adapt Inzaghi system, but I think he will be good sub next season (Vidal level?). He is better scorer than Vidal and had good stats last season with 5 goals and 6 assits.

Also Onana seems to be clear upgrade to Radu? So if Handa get injured we have a good backup.

I’m interested to see will Inzaghi improve at his second season? I’m liking how we play and we can create lot of chances. Even if we had the best attack last season with Lautaro-Dzeko we missed boatload of good chances every game. If we manage to score 1/3 more of those chances we will be fighting for a another scudetto. Inzaghi could also use that 3-4-1-2 formation against smaller teams or tight games for last 30minutes?

So overall I think we have managed to improve our squad with minimal budget and we managed to lower our wage bill in the process. So I think our managment Marotta, Ausilio, Baccin have done damn good job. 90% of FIF disagree but It’s all good

We are still as team slow as fuck, Lukaku is not enough, we should try to get Kostić definitely, Gosens alone is not enough. We need more fast players upfront.

Kostic would be great, but I think he would be only option if Dumfries is sold? Then little money + Lazaro kind of deal?

After having to see how we didn't really extend Perišić and seeing all the players Juve and Milan brought, it was apparent we have no money and that we are obviously not the favourites to win the league anymore.

Our attack won't be the same without Perišić, Hakan and Barella will have to step up in creating chances. I don't trust Dumfries, Gosens and Lautaro, we know Lukaku can create, but he can also lose the ball in stupid ways, so it's always an enygma how good Lukaku will do in every attack.

I feel our team is worse. Not by a lot, but enough that Milan and Juve have frogleaped us. I do hope I am wrong and you are right, but it doesn't seem we can have the best attack again this season.
Who have milan bought? They have origi that's it. We have been following their example in losing our targets so far this summer.

Many fans still dont understand how rube fuck us this mercato. So Bremer was our replacement for Skriniar, and they got him. Now we need to sell Skriniar, and most likely he will be sold till end of mercato and his replacement will be some minion compared to him. Nedved and co. knew this, they did what they had to do. They killed us. When we lose Skriniar its over, not just for next season,we are done as their opponents in years to come. Thats why I thought we must get atleast Dybala,it would be fkn statement that we are still relevant and that we are there to fight against rube scum, but we let him to fkn Roma. Our managment botched this big time. Yea,owners are shite, but Dybala was a must. Remember this post, you can bookmark him,and quote in the end of next season. Hope I'm so fkn wrong, but I doubt it. Skriniar will leave,if not him then Bastoni. Black days are ahead us.

Bremer was supposed to be our replacement for De Vrij.
The Skriniar sale was independent to that.

Dybala was our replacement for Sanchez but we still haven't figured out if we want Sanchez out or not. So Dybala didn't sit around till we decide on that.

only good thing about mercato, only if Škriniar stays is that the group stays together and the core is well known, we got downgrade from Perišić to Gosens and that could potentialy become little downgrade and we got better in attack by Lulaku, because I doubt he can be worse than Džeko, besides that we got Asllani as better backup in the mid than Vidal, so it's not that bad,
little changes and we keep continuity, I mean Milan won it last year partlly because of that, most of them stucked together,
yes everybody's pissed because of Dybala and Bremer but, fuck it, Dybala waited and in the end chose Roma with less salary, he could do that long ago and he would be ours, and Bremer fucked us with first better offer and did that wit city rivals, I mean you signed new contract to do better for your club and then signs wit their rivals, well what about a knife in the back, fuck him to, we are Inter....forza

How could you blame him. He is earning nearly double of what we offered, brought his old club like 20 more million and he can stay in a city where he is living for four years now. I would have joined Bilan in a heartbeat, if they had offered me such a deal, so you can't be mad at him.

You should be mad at Suning for not closing a deal that you had in hands for 7 months.

Bubba Inter do not have the finances to pay 6m euro for a rotational player, what good is it to send a signal if that just make the financial situation worse.

Inter frankly don’t have finances to pay that sort of wage to anyone. Inter seriously needs to cut that wage bill, you don’t do that with paying 6m euros for a rotational player with glass legs.

De Vrij, Sanchez, Dzeko, Hakan and Correa should be replaced with low wage alternatives. And Lukaku should never been signed to begin with.

What do you think will happen when Oaktree takes over, they will cut the wage bill as one the first thing, that means high wage players will be sold or released. There will be no place for players like Lukaku.

The problem is that no one will take these players, maybe Hakan, but I do agree, it's time to do it differently

Tbh, having the same team for 2 seasons in a row might be beneficial. Losing Perisic was devastating. But Gosens should be more than enough.

Adding Lukaku, albeit on loan is giving us more space.

Of course disappointed to see Dybala and Bremer fucking up their lives but so be it.

Just don't sell Skri or any other key player.

Maybe we'll have an advantage over other teams next year with a stronger core

Kostić is on left, Dumfries right.
Yeah I know, but one thing we don’t have is money and Dumfries is likely to be sold of our wingbacks? Bellanova, Darmian, Lazaro play on right. We can’t sell Gosens as he is only natural LWB. Darmian and Lazaro are worthles (Money vice).
