Fabrizio Biasin speaks exclusively to Inter-News.it at the end of a turbulent week at the Nerazzurri. Several topics were discussed with the Libero journalist and well-known Nerazzurri fan, primarily the transfer market from a defense perspective. From Bremer, faded, passing through Skriniar in the balance and the Milenkovic option. Below is the first part of the exclusive interview with Biasin :
- Biasin, let's first talk about the Bremer affair. Faded after months of negotiations and went to Juventus. Why did this track get complicated so suddenly? If Inter - as they say - had him in their hands practically since January, why didn't he finish earlier?
A very trivial question: Inter did not have the necessary financial resources to go and close the deal at the time. He relied on having some sort of promise with the player. He could have moved, maybe a month ago, by making the same offer but the economic part would have always been missing to satisfy Torino. Was the sale of Skriniar needed? In reality, a sale was needed. Even that of Pinamonti at 20 million would have been enough to guarantee you a good nest egg and try to close. So this delay in selling, therefore in selling players, led Inter to not be able to place their sixth shot.
- Is there a serious problem related to transfers in Inter at this point?
It is not a problem that concerns only Inter but all the Italian teams. In Italy there is a liquidity problem. Juventus came to sell because Bayern Munich needed a defender and made a very important offer for de Ligt. Something can also reach Sassuolo, who lets Scamacca go for more than 40 million euros in total and which could open up a great round of forwards. From a Pinamonti perspective, Atalanta moved first but the Goddess also needs to make some exits in order to let the player in. Inter's goal now is to be able to keep Skriniar back!
- In the last few hours, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta spoke, also speaking about Skriniar. Biasin, how do you interpret his words?
In my opinion Marotta was very clear in what he said. Skriniar is a very strong player who does not necessarily have to be put on the market. Then of course, if a very attractive offer of over 70 million euros arrives, then Inter will certainly be able to evaluate it. My feeling is that Skriniar will remain, but it is also a hope ...
- Biasin, about Skriniar and Paris Saint-Germain. What do you think of this great soap opera? And in the end, at what figures could Skriniar be renewed with Inter?
With Campos, PSG changed the market line a bit. Despite the enormous financial resources, they varied their strategy trying not to put more money on the plate for any player but to better evaluate the situations. Skriniar is definitely one of their targets. Mukiele is another name but I believe their target has always been Skriniar. Skriniar had an agreement with PSG worth over € 8 million net a year. Inter Milan will obviously have to make a reasonable offer to the player for the renewal. The Nerazzurri's ceiling is 6 million euros, Lukaku is a separate case. I believe that Skriniar will be offered an offer on Brozovic's figures. And I hope that the captain's armband will also be recognized in the future.
- What do you think of Nikola Milenkovic? Could the Serbian be the right pawn to strengthen Inter's defense?
I consider Milenkovic to be an excellent player, slightly underestimated. In the last season he probably did not express himself at the top but he is still an excellent player, capable of doing well in both a three and a four defense. Milenkovic is a player capable of giving security to the department. Should a Bremer-bis be avoided? It is also important to understand what Juventus will want to do, which could go in search of a defender ...
