This is a good way to put it!
People (players) are not commodities. It is partially irrelevant if that player is sold for xx millions, I also want xx+ millions for my player.
A player is worth what a particular team want to pay for him, considering their needs at that moment. Unfortunately nobody want to pay 70m for Skriniar as today. It doesn`t mean Skriniar is worse than other players that was sold for similar amounts.
So why did you bring it up in the first place?

But for Inter, Skriniar is a starter and his replacement would be required i.e. he is valuable to Inter. This is where valuation of a player has context. In Inter’s case, Skriniar’s valuation, the 70M is relevant based on the replacement cost of the current market, or lack of it.

We saw this with Bremer, who was sold for around 50M. Torino probably would have been willing to part with him for 30M , but considering the high demand, they got over asking.

You mean when he literally never had the ball taken from him.
I am not talking about that, he like Škriniar is very strong on holding a ball, and you could not take it from them, but when going forward and controling a ball was clumsy, and that is me, you dont have to agree with what I saw in him, he was and still is my favorite player....

I fucking hate using YouTube highlights but you obviously never watched him play so here's a highlight and there's nothing clumsy about his dribbling. He's not as flashy as Robinho or Ronaldo when it comes to dribbling, but it's nowhere near clumsy.

what? thats him, thanks man for introduced me to him,
here`s a like...

Zanetti looked confident on the ball and continued what kind of runs Maradona used to do. He was too much in control to be called clumsy

However, at 70 million, PSG may just walk, which at the moment, we can speculate is 2/3 likelier than the 1/3 chance of purchase.

Imo it is a lot more likely this deal will get done than not. PSG have no serious alternative else they would have already moved for him. Inter are also desperate for money. Even if we assume Pinamonti is sold for 20m, which is best case scenario, management is nowhere near hitting Suning's target of 60m profit. In the end this will probably get done for 55m plus 5m easy bonuses plus 5m difficult bonuses.

Skrniar is great man to man defender, a bully defender. But as Wera said he is lot worse with the ball on his feet (de Vrij is vice versa and Bastoni may be the most complete of all three).
Skriniar has another weakness, which seems not to be discuss here. He is not very mobile and had a hard time against fast players like Leao, Chiesa. This is the reason why teams like City, Bayern who play with high lines were not interested.

Bremer shares the same characteristics like Skrniar. Where I think Bremer is better is the mobility. Bremer is faster than Skrniar and has more tools to deal with Leaos or similar players. Bremer has a question mark (a big one): until now he played only for relegation or midtable. It`s an open question if he can deal with beeing at a team with other expectations. This is the reason why he was sold for "only" 50m.
Skriniar didn't have hard time against Mane, Suarez and other agile wingers. Bremer still need to prove himself in higher competition, just saying. .

Too bad his international career ruined by retarded coaches
