So Di Marzio is reporting that the management has come to an agreement with Sanchez to terminate his contract. Why so late in the game? What's the game plan here? Sign Belotti or Caicedo again?

Don't have one.
The plan is to stay with dzeko and correa option, although that's fickle as fuck if you ask me, especially given correa fitness and dzeko age.

Oh, well, i m just glad something happened after weeks of shit all happening...

I assume this was in the range of 4.5-5M net. Meaning gross cost 6-6.5M.

But the thing is we can include this and Vidal's severance pays to last fiscal year as costs. So technically we save their full salaries for the coming season compared to last season salary budget.

If Inter is paying something for him to leave, it's another terrible decision.
It's financial shenanigan move. Plus Inzaghi doesn't mind Sanchez so he had to go. This way we shift 9m cost off from our salary budget this season.

Bitch moves like this make me hate a player.
what actully did he do wrong? He came into training camp, he looks in great shape, as he was training for most of the summer, he didnt complain about anything... So in my eyes he's a complete professional. Its not his fault Inzaghi prefers to play an actual corpse and that Inter gave him this big salary, which he has every right to get.
Blame Inter, not Alexis for this mess.

Preffering Dzeko over Sanchez shows how incompetent clown Limone is.

So why is he leaving now? He knew all along that our plan was Dybala, why he didn't ask to terminate his contract earlier or asked to join another club?

Why now? If he isn't here for the money, why chose to leave now? Either stay and be a bench player, or just ask to leave asap.

What's this bs now? 2 weeks before the season. He knew that the only way he was going to be considered is if he managed to stay in the club. He stayed, cost us Dybalalala-LA, and now leaving.

Why half ass it? He would have had all the respect in the world if he stayed, nobody is questioning his abilities, and personally for me (i know this is very unpopular opinion) he should be starting ahead of Lautaro, always.

This just is petty. This is some Inter level of pettiness from him.

Lol blaming Sanchez for not moving a step from what he said to the club, and also for the loss of Dybala, but not the club that refused to give Sanchez what they're giving him now

Signing Dybala also meant that we had to sell Dzeko or Correa and neither wanted to leave, because we succumbed to Lukaku's and Belgium NTs cries...

But yeah, let's blame Sanchez because the club didn't execute their own strategy.

Thanks, and see ya. The only thing I'm really mad about is that we didn't get him when he was at Udinese, I LOVED him there and at Arsenal.

No, Dybala plan died when we signed Lukaku. We weren't into Dybala after that anymore. Marotta probably kept in touch for the case they could resolve Sanchez fast AND get rid of another striker. Which wasn't happening so Dybala was "released".

Like I mentioned earlier, the motivation of this buyout is to make books look better for this financial year. They can sink this golden handshake (like Vidal's) to previous fiscal year (I read it somewhere) so this year there is no mention of Vidal or Sanchez anywhere in our books, not in wage budget, not anywhere. So wage bill looks much better now for the current fiscal year.

Ok, so he is a hero now for accepting a golden handshake.

I don't understand why it needs to be so polarized, it's gotta be either 0 or 100.

We just wanted to push him out, we found an agreement with him over that. End of story.

The fact a club in our (horrible) financial state is throwing out lucrative golden handshakes is absurd.

But the solution is the most extreme one in his favor. So ofc people will be a bit upset with his bitch behavior.
