Interesting point in this one is that it's some kind of settlement agreement again with UEFA. I remember I've read about another settlement agreement with UEFA before during this summer actually, but there wasn't much else about it reported.

They also rumor Barca and Juve won't negotiate for any settlement. I'm wondering what shithousery we manage to pull off out of this. We negotiate some shitty deal and eat that shit. Juve and Barca refuse to comply and eventually they'll let off the hook when they go to court with UEFA or some shit like that.

This is just guesswork, amusing myself with this misery. But transfer ban would be very bad for us.

One thing is however very suspect, how UEFA could impose transfer bans? Is it stated even in FFP rules that one punishment method is transfer ban? Or is it just typical UEFA/EU shit, they are figuring things out on the fly. Usually transfer bans have been FIFA stuff.

Maybe it isn't an outright ban. Maybe it's something like club needs to show an X amount of positive transfer balance every season for the following years and/or you can sign players only up to 23-years old. I guess we will have news about it soon.

Unfortunately, you maybe correct especially if the punishments are enforced across-the-board to all the purported clubs. The formation of the super league will be resurrected.

UEFA TO ANNOUNCE SANCTIONS AGAINST JUVE, INTER AND ROMA OVER FFP

According to The Times, UEFA are preparing to announce sanctions against ‘ten clubs who have breached FFP rules up to 2020-21’, including Juventus, Inter and Roma.

Inter and Roma negotiated potential sanctions with UEFA a few months ago, but according to the report, they are likely to be fined and get transfer restrictions.

Juventus, on the other hand, have refused to negotiate FFP sanctions with UEFA. They are still not part of the ECA and haven’t formally withdrawn from the Super League. Barcelona are in the same situation, while Real Madrid don’t risk any sanction.

The three European giants are still engaged in legal action with UEFA due to the breakaway European Super League.

Europe’s governing body could also punish PSG and Marseille, but differently from Inter and Roma, they may only be fined without facing transfer restrictions.

UEFA rules allow €30m losses over three years, but ‘ Covid-related losses and “healthy” spending on things such as women’s and academy football and depreciation can be written off against that,’ explains the Times.

From next season, UEFA will bring a new system with clubs limited to spending a part of their revenue on salaries, agents fees and transfers.
Pffffffft

Zhang's Ok
We need to get out of Serie Ass, ask EPL to join them in their Super League. There is no money to be made in Italy.

Maybe we can start including youth team's best youngster instead of people like Acerbi or Rocchi.
Even some elements from our women team are better than some first team players :p
Suning will dismantle the club amd certain fans will commit suicide if we ever prioritize youngsters over walking corpses.

If our management has already negotiated a settlement, I'd like to think they aren't dumb enough to have signed Lukaku on a loan knowing we won't be able to do so again next summer.

That’s exactly what they did. Next season, he will be sitting in the stands as a supporter so he does not have to play for Chelsea and he’ll be giving interviews about how great the ragazzi are in the Curva Nord.

why do people wanna be 15th in the super league that bad? We would not be the only club with money.

Why do you want the CL so bad? It is not like we are so competitive there either?

cause this way we still play serie a. If theres a super league, Italian clubs will be againt Inter and other SL members to play the national league. There's also a much bigger chance to win Champions league now than it will be to win SL.

Why do you assume we would be last. I trust our management with proper finance would be able to build a team to compete.

I suppose the issue is that the Zhangs agreed to a Super League structure where we were getting a smaller cut than all but 2-3 clubs.

You are lying to yourself if you think we have any slight chance to win the CL. And it only gets worse as Serie A steadily going the Eredivise way rather than the EPL. Oh and we will have none of the financial stability of Eredivise either, only the irrelevancy.

With SL, we will at least have our fate within our hands. We wont be competitive right away but play our cards right for a few years and we will rise again. Even in the worst case, being the worst amongst the best is still better than being competitive between the irrelevant.

ohhh yes, we would be very competitive in the super league. Perhaps every other team there becomes retarded and we rise. We already cant defeat Slavia, Shakhtar and Montegladbach, but yea, every week playing against Real, Barcelona, City, Liverpool, PSG and teams like that will sure boost our morale while we lose 5 games in a row from time to time. And this money injection sure does sound nice, until you realize every other team also gets it and every other team also gets more money than us anyway. So, sure we will get those 300M, but City and United will still make 600M. We would be competing with fucking Lyon there, thats the reality... And also this will only destroy serie a, cause without big teams there is nothing there.

key point is money injection. SL model is still questionable. but it has something this club direly need, money. (side effect from Zhang family/Suning investment fraud)

Inter and Roma could be prohibited from registering new players for UEFA competitions, while Juventus may face harsher punishments as they reportedly refused to discuss a settlement agreement

According to The Times, the European football governing body is preparing to announce sanctions against at least ten clubs for breaching Financial Fair Play rules, including Juventus, Inter and Roma.

Calcio&Finanza in Italy highlight that the CFCB has often decided that the break-even can be reached with a rehabilitative rather than punitive approach thanks to settlement agreements.

This has led to multiple agreements between UEFA and clubs, with the CFCB combining fines and sporting restrictions which should provide clubs with the tools to reach break-even short term.

UEFA explained new FFP regulations and break-even rules in March 2020, in the wake of the COVID pandemic.

• the assessment of financial year 2020 is postponed for one season, and will be assessed together with the financial year 2021;

• the 2020/2021 monitoring period is curtailed and only covers two reporting periods (financial years ending in 2018 and 2019);

• the 2021/2022 monitoring period is extended and covers four reporting periods (financial years ending in 2018-2019-2020 and 2021).

• the financial years 2020 and 2021 are assessed as one single period;

• the adverse impact of the pandemic is neutralised by averaging the combined deficit of 2020 and 2021 and by further allowing specific COVID-19 adjustments.

We won`t be aiming for winning UCL anyway, so that could be a fine fine.

I hear your concerns bro, but you literally turned Inter into Lecce and the others into the prime Barca! Sure we are not that bad. 🥴
