That was one to forget. Not something you normally say when you wore the captain's armband for the first time.

When was the last time this fucker score? I like his work rate and his contribution to the team but for fuck sake he's a striker and he better fucking start scoring soon
The irony is that the slump has coincided with Lukaku being out injured. Usually I have to listen to people make excuses that his scoring droughts are the result of him working hard to create chances for Lukaku.

And two wins in a row coincide with Brozo being out injured.

What about the slump in previous seasons? Because Lautaro always has one. He's just a streaky forward who has dry spells every season and there has been no improvement in the last 3 years. We just need to accept that's how Lautaro is regardless of system and partner.

I believe Lautaro would be streaky even in a team like City. He'd score more there, but yet have games where he would miss everything.

But other than that, Lautaro is very important for us and I'm glad he is here. I don't mind selling him for large buckeroos (70-80 mil) if that means more talent like him is incoming (maybe two players, because we REALLY need more attackers).

Lautaro should be sold while he is worth a lot of money, he stopped progressing a long time ago and definitely has no goal sense...

I wonder if City would let Alvarez go for 35 million?

Despite his streakiness, he is still one of Inter's best players on the pitch week end and week out. I wished he was more clinical in the box and scored on a consistent basis and I bet he does too. His energy and importance in other aspects of any given match have been very good to excellent. As for benching him who with? Correa? Sanchez, Dybala, Pinamonti, Satriano...oh wait.

I will make a swap deal including Alvarez+money for Lautaro, but I don't think City is eager to sell him anytime soon. We had to get him when he was available for 20m. Now that ship has sailed. The same goes for Enzo Fernandez who joined Benfica for the same amount just a few months ago, and now he's gonna cost at least double that amount.

He is. It has nothing to do with Lukaku.

Hope Argentina does really well at the World Cup and we get an insane offer for him.

Someone is getting sold this winter and hope it’s not Barella. Everyone else can go and are shit.

It's again time Lautaro desperately needs that goal.

However I'm not worried. He's still useful every game. But we desperately need the rest of our forwards back, need to get some shorter games for Toro (and so that Dzeko don't have to start).
