Run out of luck my ass. They have players(Leao,Theo...) and mentality to kill every midget team(mid, bottom table) in a heart beat. And that brings you championship. Something that we miss under Limonade.

I hope Milan will run out of luck from now on. Enough with fluke goals and wins, they arent title winning material.
They won’t run out of "luck" and they are quite literally title winning material since that team already won the league title last season.

I know I sound like a broken record at this point, but you guys need to accept the fact that they are going to get their 2nd star this season. It’s inevitable. There is simply no one to stop them, not Napoli, not anyone else.
Anyone who still thinks this is all a huge fucking fluke is completely delusional.

The real fluke is shaping up to be our 2020 Scudetto.

Hard to call repeatedly overcoming adversity luck.
The only thing I can give it to them is the physical aspect. They are known as a very athletic team and tend to work hard every match until the very end, but the way they have been winning matches is bizarre. I mean, they were absolutely dogshit. Verona dominated the game big time, and were close to taking the lead in the second half like a couple of times.

I am pretty sure this won't last long. And I hate to remind it but the way they have won Scudetto last season is criminal. Blame it also on their opponents opening legs for them in the last five matches so...

Have you even seen the match last night? Leao was okay but man, the rest were awful. In fact, Theo was completely off in the first half.

Let's see what happens in the upcoming matches. I do believe Milan ain't going anywhere this season unless they perform better. Nowhere near that title winning material as you describe it, because they were inches away from dropping points against Verona for example.

You may think I'm delusional but I'll come back at you guys after a few weeks. Remember, this won't last long, and for sure it won't happen again like last season.

About scudetto 2020: It wasnt a fluke but it wasnt dominance either. There were bunch of matches we were really lucky to get 3 pts(home matches against Napoli, Atalanta..). Yea, it was deserved scudetto but it was achieved in the most ugliest way I can remember.

No it wasnt because the amount of favours Milan had last season it's unreal, be it with referee decisions or opponent teams opening legs for them, especially in the last five or six matches. It's crazy. And then the last match against Sassuolo... nah, for real, I don't wanna talk about it anymore.

I have my opinion that Milan is completely garbage. They do have a couple of quality players but nowhere that "title winning" material side.

Kvicha is a demon. He's got to slow down at some point right? If he doesn't United/PSG will be all over him in a year's time.
It will be miracle if he stays in Serie A next year..Chelsea,PSG,Manu Man City.

There was an essence of luck when they were winning with all those penalties. But in the last two years there's no luck. They just grind result with their aggressive style and determination they show in games.. It's annoying with the way it happens but it is what it is.

De Laurentis never sells unless the player is too old. Don't think he'll start anew with Kvaradona. And doubt he has a release clause.

Yep. They are doing that in the same way we did under Conte 2020.

So if they are complete garbage what does it tells you about us? Lost to them scudetto, this season completely humiliatiated in derby against them.. We stink pretty hard then.

Our scudetto is a completely different story to Milan's one, but if you believe otherwise then I'm not gonna bother. But ever since Inzaghi failed to address the problem and remained stubborn, it was crystal clear that we're gonna bottle it (last season). In the second match of the last season we have been robbed tbh. There was an obvious foul on Giroud's challenge against Alexis, exactly where their second goal came from. So it was decisive and a direct impact on the outcome of the match, but of course our defence was pis poor that night, especially de Vrij.

This season we've been humiliated not because they are better, but because at least they are competent enough to realize the importance of the points. We were completely off in the derby and the way of goals we conceded was amateurish. Ever since Inzaghi wanted to try something else to fix things, we made obvious improvements.

We are still nowhere near our best, but I played football almost two decades to understand how does football works. Not everything which is shown in statistics and paper is always the true outcome of it. And btw, Conte was a key figure to our Scudetto triumph. These players were never used to win something but ever since Conte's appointment as a coach, the mentality of the team has improved and we were much more united. Dunno, I kinda miss that atmosphere in our club.

Excellent post.

This team forgot the importance of team work in this season, but started to play together already in Roma match (unfortunate result) and it was in full force already in the next match Barcelona).

I haven't watched Milan too much this season but what I have watched, I'm not impressed. They get results with their mental fortitude but you won't win Scudetto with having only that. IMO if Pioli doesn't improve their game, figure out new elements to their game, it will be hard for them to win the title.

So, we should also thank Conte for our results in CL this and last season?

I'd agree our Scudetto was a fluke if we weren't second the season before and the season after. We also had a massive run in EL the first Conte season and won Coppa in the first season with Inzaghi. Clearly we were close to winning championship two times around our Scudetto win.
