HUH? A lot of games where he was benched? Maybe check the stats before you write stuff that just aint true...
Last season bastoni started 29 serie a games out of 38 for 5 of the 38 games he was injured and for one suspended.. So he was benched for a mighty 3 games where he would have been available. Dude must really dislike simone..,
CL he started 7 out of 8 games..

So really where does this narrative of Inzaghi not playing him come from?

Yeah, he was benched for games where we should be on the front foot against lesser sides and we needed rotation.

Count the times he was subbed off, maybe you will get it

Yes! If Lautaro had a scandalous character, he would have made a fuss out of it, but being a high professional he is, he just moved on, kissing Sanchez in the face everytime he was subbed by him.

Why are you pulling words out of context? Your previous question was regarding Lautaro and I gave my answer accordingly. I didn't say anything about Bastoni.

Regarding Bastoni, did you get why we think Inzaghi doesn't rate him high?

Anyone that doesn't play 90 min every game is hated by Inzaghi :)

Bastoni is such a baller. That assist to Barella was extraordinary and it wasn't even fluke as some players may pull these kind of assists here and there. Basto manages to deliver these balls in a regular basis. We are blessed to have him in our team. He's a complete package, for real.

I think if you consider playtime, he isn't actually lacking off it, unless you are comparing him to Skriniar, but he is Skriniar.
IMHO, I think the subs of him is just keeping everyone's playtime on target? Energy and match condition management, that would be my guess.

Is it the right approach? That is debatable.
