The fact that we have a passable injury list testifies how poor is Lukaku's current fitness. It is not about Pintus or Conte or any individual, Lukaku becomes an outlier while the rest of squad are healthy or only injured for a short time. It should ring the loudest alarm to not extend his loan for the next season.

Inter better not renew the loan for next year. In hindsight, should have kept Sanchez. Time for Carboni to spell Dzeko/Lautaro consistently until Lukaku gets "fit" probably in February. Looks like Inter will need another striker this winter, unless Gosens wants to give it a shot.

I think we need to try and promote both Carboni and Iliev if we can't get a new striker in January. Try to go for a 3511 or 3421 sometimes and give Dzeko a rest. I'm confident Lautaro can stay healthy, he is solid but Dzeko needs to get rest regularly and I don't really have much hope for Correa even with his goal against Sampdoria.

For sure he isn't going to play again in 2022. He isn't going to take any risks so close to World Cup.

Yeah that's the problem.
It is? Chances are he s back latest after the WC...
So why the fuck is anybody panicking about us needing a new striker?
Yall are just hyping up the drama and making absolutely useless conclusions and claims way to early. Thus playing right into the hands of fucken garbage tabloid papers whos goal it is to creat drama and we seem to be a prefered fucken target.

I mean chances of Lukaku not being fit after the WC are as big as any other rof our players participating in the WC coming back injured....
But since it s lukaku there is no way he ll be fit for the rest of the season Blah blah fucken blah...

Is it tabloid drama that Lukaku has been injured since August and he has barely played this season? Maybe he stays fit for the entire second round and we will all love it to happen. But so far there have been some VERY worrying signs about his fitness.

So what you suggest is that after having him miss the whole first half of the season, we shouldn't prepare ourselves in the possibility that he wouldn't be available/useful in the remaining months? I mean, it's not like some players have missed entire season due to reoccurring muscular problems? Players that don't have the same needs in terms of physical preparation. He is like 100kg, got injured during training after the third game in the season, has been nowhere near acceptable form since despite the fact that initially he was supposed to be back against Milan. His recovery will be VERY VERY long and no one knows what version of Lukaku we'll get after that. Also so much talk about the WC, is there some magical threshold after the WC that will make injured player fit again or is it just wishful thinking because people are scared to admit that taking Lukaku back after that complicated year at Chelsea was a stupid decision?

Did you see him against Sampdoria? 30 minutes of Lukaku walking and acting as a passenger. That's what you get after his return from injury. Of course, any player would need time to get back to match playing fitness, for Lukaku it always take even longer especially now that we don't have Pintus to keep him in shape. We gambled our season on the fact that just getting our ex back even in different conditions would make everything work (not only Inzaghi/the management but also most Inter supporters) and now we are left wondering what the hell to do given that he's spent the last two months in holidays while his teammates were getting out of the toughest UCL group and fighting to come back to the first places in Serie A. Even without injuries and with Pintus it took time to build the outstanding physical shape he was in during the scudetto season.

It just shows how the management lacks ideas and ambition when trying to sign players. This return should never have happened and extending the loan should never be / have been in discussion, we need to move forward and forget about this guy as soon as the season is finished. He has nothing but his physic and now he has reoccurring muscular injuries.

Nope but blaming him or our mgm for it very much is.....Through out his career dude was never injury prona and now people on fif make it out like we bought fucken alexis sanchez...
The drama is saying we need to buy some shitter in jan cause lukaku is gonna be injured any ways.. Thats the drama and thats straight up stupid.

Like everybody who is shiting on this transfer or on lukaku is judging everything in hindsight...

I mean remember that apparently some inter fans got pretty pissed at rom for smoking e cigs when the sun just pulled that out of their asses.. Meanwhile interistas were like fuck him he s injured and smoking Ecigs....
What good does this fucken decision do other than put pressure on lukaku and make our mgm look bad? Exactly nothing...

All it shows is just how biased you are against lukaku period. No we should fucken not prepare our selfes or just buy a 5th striker cause lukaku might get injured...
If in jan we know fucker will be out for another 3 months by all means go out and get another striker but now when there is 0 indication why fucken bother?
Ohh he played bad when he came on and we already were up 3:0 and he pulled something again that night ohh noooo....
Did you see him against pilsen did he seem lazy or unfit there? We all can cherry pick.

Lukaku did not have pintus before and other than at MANU he never really had fitness issues. But sure at inter it can only work with Pintus also pintus is a fucken fitness coach give me a break you really think pintus is the only one who can get our players up to condition?

Our other striker option this summer would have been dybala who has a way worse injury track record than Lukaku but yeah they were idiots for picking injury prone Rom.

Again all this mgm lacks ideas is very easy to say from your chair infront of your PC with the power of hindsight.
Evaluate decisions when they are taken and with the information that are available at that moment.

Why fucking bother? He was supposed to be fit last week and then he got reinjured. The point is he seems to get injured often, there's nothing wrong with discussing about his replacement.

Did we ever have the same discussions about sanchez? Who was permanently injured had a way worse injury record and so on.....

Also really depends on where that discussion is happening here on this forum ofcourse nothing wrong with it cause lets be honest who except for us and a couple of pathetic bbilanistas cares whats written on here. In the media and within the club i think having this discussion atm would do more harm then good.

I don't know is he injured or not, but if he magically returns for WC and stays fit to the end of it, I will be seriously pissed.

Our season wasn't hinged on Sanchez, we put all our baskets in Lukaku so it's deservedly so that it's discussed here.

I have a suspicion that he tries to save himself for WC.
Sorry to break it to you but that's the only reason he came here, man.

Aaa, he could have stayed at Chelsea and rest on the bench. At least, as long as Tuhel was the coach there.
