Bringing this guy would make sense only if Inzaghi is willing to give him a real chance. But if Inzaghi intends to start Dimarco in every game then it's pointless to bring him only to sit on the bench and play garbage minutes.

First of all, this all depends on if Gosens wants to leave or not. Everything he talks publicly indicates he's happy at Inter.

Second, Vasquez has played 150 minutes at Valencia. Gosens has played 550 minutes at Inter. It's not like he's a starter at Valencia and would come to a worse place here.

Gosens doesn't play garbage minutes. His minutes are pretty important actually as Inzaghi does this WB subs almost every match (like Conte did). Handling the latter part of the games is important too but Inzaghi prefers to start with his guy (obviously).

Vazquez will be filling Bellanova's role. With his current age and skill, it is still acceptable to warm the bench while competing for the starter spot. It won't hurt to have a youngster in the squad as long as his price is lower than Gosens' selling price.

I don’t know if there’s huge incentive for Gosens to leave unless there’s a much better opportunity on the table. The World Cup is already lost for him, which sucks but the damage is done and he wouldn’t necessarily be as desperate for minutes at this moment.

From inter’s perspective I wouldn’t sell him for a loss. If you can cash out on him in the black and reinvest, sure why not.

The World Cup is lost to him but there are Euros in 18 months from now. He needs to get regular minutes from January if he wants to return to the national team.

Di Marzio said Genoa is offering 3M + 1M in bonuses and a 20% sell clause.
Gds says it could be a joint operation with Inter.

I can't give you a compelling reason why Gosens should want to stay.
Maybe he likes it in Milano? He doesn't want to give up after just few months?

Remember he wasn't exactly fit last season, he talked about this himself how he has learnt of himself when he is really fit, how he returned too early last season).

Inter lost Matturo to Genoa. It was announced by his club president.
I was not expecting you to fall for such a statement. Nothing is lost until contracts are signed :p

Defensor president Alberto Ward confirmed that “it is practically closed with” Genoa when speaking to AM 970 Universal.
Agreed with the club but not the player. Matturro still needs to agree personal terms with the Rossoblu but is keen on the idea of joining the club, happy to get his first taste of action in Europe.

Gds says it could be a joint operation with Inter.
I was thinking this might be the case if he really ends up joining Genoa. Inter don`t have money to spend now so they prefer Genoa to pay upfront and Inter will worry later about the 20% interest rate.

Udogie is a Spurs player. Doubt they are selling him already.

yeap, he is too good for them to sell him. There's a bigger chance of getting Perisic back, especially if Conte leaves, which i think he will.
Maybe part of the Gosens money we get when he eventually leaves we can give to Perisic to come back for a season?

Ideally I'd look for younger players as alternatives but I wouldn't complain if he comes for a season or two. Although Marotta might not want to see him back here.

It depends on the player. At the moment, it only says there's an agreement between clubs, but not between Genoa and the player.

He'll play at Genoa regardless for a year or two.

Now he can prefer to be owned by Inter, or he can prefer to be owned by Genoa.
