A short video about Liverpool growth because of transatlantic slavery and the issues with history.

I was joking btw. Nunez and Lautaro would miss 10 chances per game.

Inter having 20+ chances per game does sound dreamy

Darwin currently lacks confidence. It's not easy for a kid from Uruguay to settle in Liverpool of all places, especially coming from Portugal. Having a mental block is a rather common thing for strikers.

Also let's not forget that both primary left wingers for Liverpool are injured - Jota and Diaz. But yet, gotta say, I expected more from him.

Odegaard is amazing, he is the glue that makes Arsenal keep winning games.

Nice to see Newcastle being ruthless.

Conte on the other hand needs to fix his defence

Newcastle doing so well so fast is bad news for everyone. And they don't even have a top manager yet. They will probably be fighting for the title a lot sooner than expected.

What was everyone's expectations?

I think I said that I expected them to be competing within 2.5 seasons so I think we're on par with that. Only thing I wasn't expecting is Manchester City not having the results Arsenal are having.

Speaking of, if they manage to win half their games till the Everton away game, I'll consider them legit. But facing Brighton away, Newcastle at home, Tottenham away, Manchester United at home and an Everton that's desperate for points away doesn't scream "easy" schedule. Their season depends on Odegaard maintaining his high level.

I think CL spots are going to City, Liverpool and Tottenham. Arsenal has much higher chances than Newcastle, but they'll fight the last one with the possible resurgence of Manchester United. Chelsea will enter the mix if they have a good transfer market and obviously if they beat City next week.

remember when Scamacca tricked lots of people and made them believe that he's actually a good football player? LOL

Ever since i joined the forum i have seen FIF going crazy over Serie A prospects who failed to deliver many times. Bernardeschi. Piatek. Schick. Kumbulla. Locatelli (flop for me even though i am sure people will blame it on Allegri). Schick meltdown was the worst by far.

But all these guys had at least showed something in their good spells in Italy.

On the other hand, Scamacca just had few decent months at Sassuolo. He scored few wonder goals here and there but you could see the guy was very limited and in no way a starting forward for a top club. I was always stunned there were people on this forum, whom i rate their footballing opinion very highly, who were going crazy over Gianluca freaking Scamacca. Sadly it's also a sign Serie A badly lack talents, especially in attack, when even mediocres like Scamacca are considered hot prospects.

And then there is our grande 1672486495753.png. He went back to italy and proved us wrong, he was still GOAT :proud:
