I love him, but the way he is acting is a bit disappointing.
He can treat Zhang as badly as he wants but must respect the club and give 100% to fans.

Also he must say this to the public right now, I can't see any of his comment.

I've said even during summer window that Skrinar will be beast as central defender in the middle, but he is not so good as RCB. For me, as overall contribution, the best is Bastoni not Skriniar.
I've said the same thing too, he's central defender. That's his best role. But even as a RCB he's still our best option. Darmian can contribute there as well but Skriniar should still be our first choice.

I keep reading that football has changed... How so? Implementing VAR results in players changing clubs 10 times during their career? If that's the case, what will happen with the fully implementation of the automatic offside rule?

My point is, football hasn't changed, "morals" maybe.

Nothing against Skriniar if he wants to join a bigger club, with better teammates and bigger salary. Whoever here thinks that Skriniar owes us something is wrong, and the reason for that is that we didn't play Skriniar because we loved him oh so much, even when his form was shit, even when he scored 10 owns goals and had 20 red cards in a season - nah homie, we played him because he was a beast, we won the SCUDETTO with him being as one of the protagonists. I can not stress enough how OK i am with him choosing more money and more everything (what i just said about teammates and yadda yadda). So i wanna be clear on that, he doesn't owe us as a fanbase and a club and whatever you call this - Inter, nothing.

Things for me get a bit bitchy, is when you on purpose avoid and push new contract talks, or make stupid requests knowing the club can't match, just so you can leave for free and get that extra signing bonus, this is not cool. There should be a new law or something, that both protects players and clubs. Imagine 2 days before the transfer window ended, Al ahly (i don't know the spelling, but Cristianos new club) offered 160 millions for Skriniar and we could sell him without even considering his wishes on a human being level...

And just please, i get it, that it's always difficult to see the situation very unbiased (some of us think he is a bitch some of us think the club is dumb) but make no mistake and believe that we didn't offer him contracts or had convos with his agent one year ago, just to get a feeling where we can land with it.

If there was a chance to extend for half a million more per year for 2 extra years, you think we wouldn't sign that as a team? Or even a million plus per year for two years...

This was very purposefully done by him with a plan. And that's why it gets bitchy and I feel salty lol, which considering everything i have the right to. They're feelings i can't control em.

Fully agree, again the problem for me starts with him apperently straight up lying to fans and he des not owe us anything but the decent thing to do would have been to play it straight with fans and mgm and there would e alot less anger from the fans side or lets say the anger would be towards somebody else.
Dude could have told mgm in summer hey i want out we would have sold him for 50 and most fans would be bitching about mgm and not skriniar...

Oh, but he does owe us though, you can't build an image of fan favorite, and make people riot and march on the street in case of your sale for bullshit plusvalenza and then suddenly do a 180 and flip the story like It's nothing. For the amount of love and protection he received from the fans, let's not pretend he was just another player. He owed us honesty and directness.

As much as disappointed I am, if I’m being objective and put my emotions aside, i totally understand his move.

I mean, imagine you are Skriniar. Football is your profession.
You are in a Club, that financially is in free falling the last couple of years, and the future seems to be even worse.
You know that nobody gives a fuck about you on a human level. You are just an asset for them, that they WILL cash on you when the times comes. As they did with Lukaku, Hakimi, Perisić contract, Brozovic contract and your own contract. Basically you know that by putting a pen on a new contract means that you only make Them a favour so they can later cash in on you, and at the same time reduce your negotiation leverage with the potential new club. (Signing bonus, bigger salary, etc.)
On a sporting side, you see that the Team doesn’t have the ambition that matches yours, and even if you are not the first one to go, you know that every transfer window one of your best teamates will leave.
So basically you have a 2 Options:
1. Make the team favour by damaging your potential finances, even tough you don’t own that team anything. On the contrary, you left your soul on the pitch for that team.
Or
2. Look after your future, and choose the option that is the best for you not only financially but also professionally.

Only a Hypocrite, or someone that is too afraid to get out of their comfort zone will choose option 1. Let’s be honest.

I can work in a store, have the best costumers, greatest colleagues and so on, But if my boss and the management is shit, and makes me feel that i am replaceable (which i know i am), i won’t give a flying fuck, and will take the first better option that i will have. If i don’t feel protected, why should i protect them?

The only thing that i think Skriniar should’ve done different was to keep his mouth shut untill the end of the season, his agent also…post a Thank you letter to the fans, at the end and say goodbye. That’s it.

Maybe his feelings changed between summer and now.

Remember lads! nothing is permanent!! Apart from taxes and death.

If the guy no longer wants to play here for what ever reason , it's time to part ways ! Simple as that.

As a team we should put our focus on the rest of the season, and somewhat finishing in a decent position to bring some extra value to the club,.

There were far bigger players who were sold by Inter. They remain Inter legends no matter what and they all value their time at Inter (bar maybe Zlatan). There's a mutual love. Skriniar won't be remembered as such.

I'm not gonna act as a clown and call him a traitor and what the fuck ever. The guy made his choice, so I think we should respect that. Am I disappointed? Yeah, like hell. Because I always thought that whether depends on him, he will always remain here, but shit happens. I can't stand our management for doing stupid things over and over, so players will always look for the best project and the future, and of course the money.

Which none of these can be found in Inter now. Then again, one can question his loyalty, true that. But where was Inter's loyalty? Think from the other side as well. I mean, there aren't players like JZ anymore, so stop crying over it and move on.

I have been supporting Inter for many years, and many times I get the feeling of; why the fuck am I watching this clown club over and over again? When they don't bother themselves, why should I destroy my nerves and stay up late with lack of sleep just to get myself annoyed, disappointed and everything else.

Yeah again then he should have shut the fuck up about how much he loves this club and wants to stay here............
Also yes it s time to part ways i think we all can agree on that the problem here is how we part ways..... As it looks now we re gonna lose a huge asset for free cause he was not willing to properly communicate with mgm...
Again if at any point he loved inter as much as he claimed he would have the decency to renew with a minimal buy out clause so that the club he loves so much and that is on the brink of financial ruin gets something from him leaving.
Sure as hell the inter fans would appreciate it a lot and it would make his farwell a lot easier....

Again my beef is not with him leaving my beef is with how he is leaving..............

You have to let it go bro.... Don't stress over it.

While I agree it's a shit move , lining his pockets over helping the club that gave him the centre stage for global recognition, I understand what you are saying.,. However we should be focusing on the rest of the season.

If Skriniar has it in him to play out the rest of the season and have a positive impact then he should , however if any resemblance of the shit he pulled Vs Empoli then he should be benched., Darmian seems to be doing ok with Dumfries on The right

Above all else the armband needs to come off. Asap.

I'm reading a lot of petty shit over here guys, sorry. What did we offer that he refused and what is psg offering? Some of you seem to be under the illusion that most Inter players are made from Javier Zanetti cloth, but that's why you have one Javier and a couple of other rare ones, that's why you need to appreciate them more. Nothing against Skriniar. Football nowadays is changed a lot from what we grew up with. There's no need for the scrutiny. And let's be honest, what happened with Perisic? We don't exactly have the best directors and president - Moratti doesn't own this club anymore - even Suning and Zhang they're trying their "best" and obviously they want to make money ultimately while PSG and Mac City are on 'give me story' mode every time they play on the mercato. They don't have a father's dream/legacy that Jose Mourinho finally delivered for him. If he's to leave, I wish him all the best in his career - players need to make money too, and would be plain idiocy to even consider doing things like some here are suggesting. Let him rot in the bench, bla blah blah. Take it easy bros

And unsurprisingly this wall of text completely misses the point of why so many people are upset with this.

Not stressing over it just disappointed in him and confused about the people still defending him on here while trying to shift all blame on mgm.....

So he is an Asset in your eyes, and the eyes of the club, but the club has to be a family to him? For real? And how do you know that the management did communicate with him properly?

Why the fuck should he do that? Did he owns the club something? He was a beast for us, if anything we should be grateful for what he did for us? It’s not like he was Messi so the club raised him and helped him with the health problems or something. Ehat if he got ingured in the summer? Some really bad Ronaldo level injury? 2 years off the pitch? Do you think that inter would’ve give him 6M contract? Why should he give up his money to the Club that sees him just like an asset?

How is he leaving? This isn’t anything like Icardi, or more recently Zaniolo. No, he respects his contract professionally, and then chooses what’s best for him.

So 31 year old Jorginho, who had 6 months remaining on his contract, went to Arsenal for 12 million pounds. Not bad!

This is related to Škriniar because, he also just has 6 months left, and the reported amount PSG was offering was 10 million euros.

What? It s hm who constantly said he loves inter and has no intention of leaving and renewing wont be a problem. Turns out he was lying.......
No the club does not have to be family to him but then be honest about it.. Look at perisic he was honest from the fucken get go and nobody is pissed at him for leaving on a free transfer beside the short anger from inter fans right after he joined when he said the EPL was his goal. But again he was honest no problem with that. Well according to all reports the club did offer him 6 to 6.5 mio which is pretty much as high as we can go... so unless some idiot promised him 10 mio yes i think the club was honest with him*.
*ofcourse if there is a miscomunication between two parties the fault always lies with both parties and thats true for our mgm....
Alli I m saying in hindsight it looks a lo like skri wanted out from the get go but did not tell mgm in summer cause he would have been sold in summer in that case.

Again the reason why he should do this is because he said on multiple occasions that he loves this club and he loves it s fans. Also not like it s a thing that is out of this world to do.
Also we spent 30+ mio on him when he pretty much was a nobody and most of the football world was wondering why the fuck we did that. Then he went on to become one of the best CBs in the world at inter so i d say we had something to do with his developpement.

Also funny you mention Icardi did he not renew his contract with inter when he already was fighting with mgm exactly so that we would not loose him on a free transfer?

Bottom line he s well within his rights to do what ever he wants and he does not owe us anything. But if he does so he cant be mad or disappoined when me and other interfans call him out on his Bullshit of i love inter blah blah fucking blah.
