He was a sure starter in the first half, but his knee got hurt again. Remember he had ACL torn 2 years ago.

He might be a bonehead, but make one thing clear. At this moment , with our finances and clock ticking. You cannot find a Skriniar level defender. You need to accept the fact that his replacement will be not that level. But we absolutely need one . There's a half season to play. Tomorrow 90mins for a place in Coppa semis, UCL knockouts, top4.

With his history with injuries it would only make more sense to make only a deal on a dry loan.

Oh i do fully understand the Skriniar replacement wouldn’t come close to his level. But it would be nice to see is spending our very limited money wisely for once. Our keep it in our pocket.

But you have D’ambrosio and Darmian. Denzel appears to be staying, so RWB is covered with 2.5 players. No point in bringing in someone for the sake of filling a hole. Even if the hole in terms of quality is big.

Also, after the double yellow v Empoli, and -3 points , why keep someone who doesn’t want to be here.
