Perisic going allowed Dimarco to rise to his current level. Perisic coming back wouldn't make any sense.
Unfortunately we are broken, and Gosens doesn't work for us. If Perisic comes back for a reasonable salary, and we ship Gosens off, it's fine as we can invest the money elsewhere.

Bringing Perisic back would be worse than was letting him go.
We would regret it in 6 months, then wait for his contract to end to get the wages off the books.

perisic back isnt the answer. We need to grow and develop - a 34 year old LWB isnt part of that strategy sadly.

what is Inter strategy so far?
The words "so far" infer that we have a strategy in place that is current.

I would argue that we do not have a strategy whatsoever with the only guideline being to be on the look out for cheap free agents.

1) Why would Perisic do that?
2) Like mentioned here, we need to move on. It's in the past now and we can't keep relying on these guys who left us once.

Most probable scenario is Perisic is not even thinking of returning even if he wanted to leave.

wasn't there a rumour Paratici and Conte might also get a ban from football?

Gallbladder surgery won't keep him out for longer than a few weeks. Paratici is already banned iirc.

I don’t know what’s wrong with Spurs but this is not his game plan.

Ben Davies received ball in the left with no midfielder option to pass and there was big space with no Spurs players in front, Perisic went too high then rushed back for ball, left Son only there on left side. Of course Kane had to drop back, ball to him but turned over, Spurs focused on Iheanacho, Maddison was free.

He’s been there like more than a year with 3 transfer windows? I expect him to establish his play already. This is not.

That's because Spurs as a club and its players are mental deficients. It does not matter how well drilled they are, they will always be choking shit cunts who are just there to make up the numbers.

Spurs was always always a terrible choice for him. But even at that, it'd hard to say he's been anything else than a failure there. His reputation is taking a battering as well. Should have stayed but better he left, he'd have lost it here.

We would have won our 20th with Conte , Im pretty sure. Yeah we lost Lukaku and Hakimi and Eriksen, but Dzeko, Dumfries and Hakan were decent replacements with our finances.

With a little more courage and effort and not whining like a little bitch, he would have been almost Mourinho level of god here with 2nd star. But he chickened out and look at him at Spurs. His vice Stellini winning vs City, he steps up getting slapped vs Lester.

Going to Spurs at the time he did was such a typical move for Conte's character. He was never interested in Spurs job and that's why he had rejected them in the summer. He was always waiting for Man Utd job. But when they decided to pass on Conte for Rangnick his ego was hurt so he just decided to take the first job available. So typical of Conte to act impulsively instead of acting patiently. If he had chosen to wait he could have probably been offered job at Chelsea instead of Potter or even PSG.

Spurs and Conte were such a terrible fit. Sure if he could win EPL with Spurs it would have been THE achievement of his career. But chances of that happening were minimal. He only had to lose by going there. And he did. This spell is nothing short of a failure, it tarnished his reputation abroad as a serial league winner and it has limited his future options significantly. He's lucky Juve are so desperate to bring him back else he would have to lower his demands significantly to find a job, probably at Milan.

I think we did well to part ways with Conte when we did. If he stick solely on tactics it's likely he would have won another Serie A with Inter. But we all know he wouldn't. He would constantly throw tantrums about the sales and lack of investments, begging to get fired. It would have been a repeat of his second season at Chelsea. This has always been the problem with Conte. He's the worst enemy of himself. Always self destructive. And that's why teams go to him only when they're in a rebuild mode.
