Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy we're through, but the way was just sickening. The game against Barcelona was perfectly executed. This was pure luck.

Grande Onana.
This was far from luck.

A good game plan and we executed it pretty well. Only in the added time, it all fell apart and Porto bombarded our box and we just couldn't defend it properly, they got those two great chances (Dumfries and Onana+post saves). I don't consider Grujic header a great chance, more like an aerial ball which hit the post because it wasn't going in as otherwise Onana would have reacted to it.

We suffocated them pretty well and allowed only one real counter (that Mhki fuck up).

Inter Went thru, am i missing something? have people seen the Europe and CL exists apart from the 2003 semi final run and 2010 title? Yes Inzaghi and Co are below par and gifted 2 Scudetto titles to Rivals but CL progress is a win regardless of anything else.

The most logical way to get to semifinal is to play against Benfica or Milan. I say Inter -Milan would be an exciting 1/4 final.

For once the luck is on our side and for once we taste how it feels to see other team wasting numerous chance when it is usually us. I am impressed with Inzaghi's progression in cup tournament, but I cannot be happy with the leakage at our defence. Defence and counter attack is the obvious gameplan yet we still concede too many chances. We are lucky Porto players are not clinical enough to finish those chances.

Keeping a clean sheet with Acerbi and Darmian starting as CB is always a good game in my book.

You are all celebrating progressing to the next round of the CL but I am celebrating that we finally didn't lose or concede in an away game.
A fucking miracle in my mind. I’ll take the scrappy, semi lucky draw that takes us to the next round (where we probably have no shot whoever we play) but this hopefully becomes a huge boost for the lads with how shit we’ve been defending away from Meazza.

Semifinal money matters. So for me it's Milan.

I'm mostly annoyed at how clueless we are on counter attacks.

Also god bless that crossbar

CONCEIÇÃO REFUSED TO SHAKE HANDS WITH INZAGHI AFTER PORTO VS. INTER

Porto coach Sérgio Conceição refused to shake hands with his Inter counterpart Simone Inzaghi after a 0-0 draw at the Estadio Do Dragao on Tuesday, which allowed the Nerazzurri to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals.

It’s the first time in 12 years that the Benamata manage to go beyond the Round of 16 of Europe’s elite competition. Inter had won the reverse fixture at the Stadio Meazza 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Romelu Lukaku.

Their former winger Conceição, now in charge of Porto, was embittered after the final whistle on Tuesday and refused to shake hands with Inzaghi.

Il Corriere dello Sport explains that the former Portugal international may not have noticed the Italian tactician approaching him and quickly walked inside the tunnel after the game.

There was tension before, during and after the game, with over 1,0000 Inter fans not allowed inside the stadium as they had purchased tickets for the home sections of the Estadio Do Dragao.

“I also want to spare a thought for circa a thousand fans left outside the stadium even after regularly purchasing a ticket. This was unexpected and obviously we will make a formal complaint to UEFA to have a clear picture of what happened,” said the Nerazzurri director.

“I saw footage of families who were locked outside, children crying who had flown here from Italy. Football must represent unity and joy, so this is a bitter page in what was otherwise a wonderful evening.

I didn't knew Cuntceicao has such a behaviour. The guy makes competition to Xavi.

Glad that we managed to knock these cunts out. Their players were consistently diving and whinning. Also I remember them commiting a few unsportsmanship conducts here and there.

They can suck a dick now.
