Nobody talks about him, but his form is crucial right now. When he performs our midfield is best in Italy. Samo naprijed Broz!

we need money he has been the engine of our team for so Long but was out most the season + Cahla took on his role perfectly.

Seems like a no brainer to sell for a good offer. Sacrifices will be made and I prefer we keep guys who can start for another 3-5 years than someone who just going to be good for another season or 2.

Yeah Brozovic coming into form is huge for us. I’m interested to see what how Inzaghi handles this with Hakan generally playing better in that position this year and Mikhitaryan basically untouchable.

You mean only for Inzaghi right?
Yes. But I also don’t really blame him in the sense that we don’t have another player with his characteristics.

Barella, Hakan, Mikhi has been the best, most stable midfield by far this season. I don’t know if we should really mess with the formula too much, but also it seems like Brozovic and Hakan are clicking based on what we saw at Verona. Barella is also basically untouchable, at least from the off— he’s the main engine in the squad.

Not too long ago everyone was complaining about Gags and Vecino being our principle midfield subs. Now you want to sell Brozo and bank on Mkhi-Calha-Barella playing 3 games a week NONSTOP next season. Are you nuts?

There's some issue with Calha slightly underperforming when he plays LCM again. But no way in hell we don't deserve to have 4 good mids as a potential CL contender.

It doesn`t fucking matter what we deserve. What matters, is the financial possibility to keep all of them. They are too expensive for our finances. This is the bare truth, even it is painful!

Of course everyone expects us to sign a midfielder if Brozovic is sold.

I want Brozovic to be sold simply because of his age and contract. He's back to his best again but if we can make money by selling him, I' up for it. His value will never be higher and if we need to keep cost cutting Brozovic's contract is a good candidate for that.

Of course, if we don't have to make money, no problems with Brozo. I just don't think that's the case.

I feel the same than with Lautaro. I don't trust they will bring someone better than Brozovic with that money. So Brozo-Cala-Barella and Miki as first sub and Asllani as 5th is the minimum we can ask for if we want to fight for scudetto

He was fantastic today. Seems to always have something left in the gas tank.

Of course they won't bring in anyone better. That's not the point. Point is to make money and cut costs.

It seems we don't need to make (at least a lot of) money this June because of the CL run since that pride money goes to this fiscal year (ending June). But starting from July, we probably need to make money again. And the cost cutting is the eternal thing here.

That's why I think Brozo and his mega contract would be the perfect victim since this is probably the last summer we can do the sale.

Losing Brozo would mean we would have to adjust our game a bit since he's the true director of our cycling game.

Gags and (potentially) Brozo leaving and Mhki being a reanimated corpse means we will (well, we must) get some new players for our midfield. Asllani can be Hakan's understudy.

Just get somebody that can do what Mhki does and somebody that can bring some steel into our midfield instead of Gags (this one could be a loan or one of our ex youngsters coming back)

We all know what Brozović brings to our midfield, but you know, if the right money comes, why not sell him? We lost too much money (and players) to be fucking around. Losing Brozo is easier to swallow than losing Bastoni or Barella or Lautaro (even if I see Brozo as their equal)

remember that while brozo has a big contract his amortization cost is basically 0.....
Not gonna be easy to replace him and cut costs unless we find somebody on a bosman...

Of course but he will generate plusvalenza. I assume we need to sell this summer.

Thing is with the CL run we might not need to sell any big players... I know not sustainable but ideally we replace the likes of Gags/correa/Skriniar/Lukaku with cheaper options and bring down costs that way. Let me say it this way i think it would be easier to replace these guys adequately while also cutting costs than brozo.
Also I d much rather sell dumfries if the rumors are true...
