Kamada ain't random. I could see him feature for Inter if he came here

the Chinese in general hate the Japanese. Koreans hate them as well because of WW2 they are their version of Nazi's who just never apologized or recognized what they did to Asia. Doubt the Chinese owners want a Japanese player here to market.

tho it's super sad they have like 2 billion people in china and not 1 good player. That is insane

I get your point about Chinese hating Japanese.

On the other hand, does a Chinese player have to play outside of China to be considered good?

Football is not big in China, basket ball is by far the most popular sport there. Football in China made a lot of noise recently because Xi liked football.

In an ideal world, that's how you replace Gagliardini in the roster.

Even in ideal world you would still have to sell Brozovic in order to sign SMS as neither would accept a bench role.

Last time we had the Japanese market in mind we entered what is affectionately known as The Banter Era.

Tbf Japanese players in Europe right now are a lot better than the ones 10+ years ago. I wanted Tomiyasu here when he was still at Bologna, and the Japanese in Germany seem to be very good players as well.

We have nothing to offer them. They won't take Correa back. Even if we offered them all our future stars for him we still wouldn't have the $$$ unless Brozo is sold (he is only 2 years older). Also why give us 25-30m for Brozo when you get get SMS for 35m?

I mean I really hope he doesn't go to Juve, Napoli or Milan. I just don't see him coming here. Our MF is fine we need to plug the attack and defensive holes we have that are massive.

Don't have one.
Now, this would be a statement signing fit for cl finalist. I don't think we have much chance though, our only hope is that marotta has a hard on for him since forever, so maybe there is little hope there if we manage to convince the player, and if he wants to stay in italy.

But regardless if we get him or not, we need to try and get at least one player that is close to being a world-class. For a couple of years now all that we are buying are role players, which is fine, but imo we need squad refreshment in that sense, we need new barella, new hakimi type of reinforcement if we want to improve compare to this season.

Winning champions + 10 million for Correa + wages saved from Skriniar, Dzeko, Lukaku, De Vrij, Gags , D ambrosio and potentially Handa

Funny how people against selling Martinez or Bastoni but dreaming SMS. Money does not grow on trees :D No one is paying more than a popcorn for our deadwood.

To upgrade the team we need to sacrifice something, which I am suggesting. Better than living with poverty to eternity.

We have like 5-6 guys making 3-5 million that their contracts are expiring.

Let them leave

1.D Vrij wants 4 million net so 8m he can fk off
2. Dzeko wants 5m so 10
3. Gags he is on 1.8m so let’s say 3.5m net
4. Lukaku is on what 10m salary or we paying 20m net?
5. D’amb ? What’s that another 2-3m?
6. Handa?
7. Skriniar wages he had to be on 8-10m net

+ additional money for making champions next season, + copa italia + we qualify for that other cup for winning copa Italia.

Money is there. Just don’t resign deadwood

Erm, you need both quantity and quality to fight 3 races. 47+ matches per season. You can't simply say we kick De Vrij and Dumbo and Skriniar out but only 1 good DC in. But three. A tired Bastoni will play worse than two healthy Acerbis for instance. And what if Darmian injured?

The salary offload usually will be spent on their replacements. For transfer fee you need surplus income.

Also I don't forget the income this season. As far as I know, we have only earned enough to balance the sheet. That's how terrible our finance was.
