umh, did the journalist say that he'd arrive in August or was it you that added that? If he did we dont have to care about what he has written since Pato wont go to Europe until Jaunary.

I dont get what all the fuss is about Pato anyways, he looks extreemly average to me, nothing special at all.

That said, we have been missing out on just about every great talent for years now. And better gamble on him than buying yet another mediocre player that wont improve the first 11 anyways.

yup, thats why we struggle to reach and get knocked out of the quarters every year in cl....

People shouldnt let this great season fool anyone.

Compared to other proclaimed top teams, we are nothing special. We probably have the most mediocre midtfield of every big team in europe, and thats not only because we greatly lack creativity, our midtfielders are simply below average for a team that wants to be a serious cl contender.

azzkikr I disagree

Cambiasso and Vieira are world class, Stankovic is a very good player definetly not below average, Figo is world class, Dacourt is a very good backup for Cambiasso or Vieira, Zanetti is world class, Solari makes a good backup for Figo and there you have it.

Inter is the best team in the world but we are unlucky. Milan won the CL but we're 10 times better than them so how do you explain that.

Nonononononono, Figo WAS world class.

He'll always be class. What you mean he was? If you're trying to say his fitness is not as good as 10 yrs ago then ya you're right but besides that he's still the same player with less speed.

Figo IS world class.

Cambiasso is not worldclass, give me a break. If cambiasso is worldclass, then the term worldclass is hardly as limited as it should be since there are plenty of better midtfielders than cambiasso. Im sick and tired of people overrating this guy, he is a decent player, who has performed alot better than most people expected, but saying he is worldclass and stuff is just silly. He is the definition of the word mediocre, he isnt really bad at anything, but on the other hand he doesnt excel at anything at all.

Vieira can be worldclass on the day, but there was surely nothing worldclass about him last season, i think we can all agree on that.

Stankovic? apart from making some ridiculously great goals in the first half of last season he has been poor. He was poor the entire second half of the league, his great goals overshadowed his else fairly poor performances, and prior to last season it was even worse.

Zanetti was by far our best midtfielder last season. It says alot about these so called "worldclass players" of yours when they get outperformed by our dear captain playing as a regular midtfielder for the first time in years.

And figo? yes he is worldclass, for about 30-60 minutes every game he plays. But i wasnt really refering to him in this matter anyways.

People needs to take off the black&blue glasses and look at the players in the right perspective, some are being ridiculously overrated.

Anyways, thats just my opinion.

Simply ridiculous.

Midfield isn't all about creativity, Cambiasso isn't mediocre, and Stankovic isn't just about great goals.

Some people need to understand how mentality, versatality, and work load contributed to our success last season.
