I like this deal. Jimenez adds the creativity we needed from the bench. None of Deco,Requeleme or Diego would have accepted that they won't start most games.

The Swat foursome of jz,cambi,viera and deki are unmovable unless we have major injuries. Good Decision by the management.

Yep exactly, thats what is so good about this deal. No need for the BIG names, lets hope in a couple of years Jimenez will have made a HUGE name of himself at our club.

Btw could anyone make a poll or something? I really want to know what people think of Luis Jimenez. I expect big things from this guy.

Its like a lot of people are against him on this forum. I cant wait to see Lucho in action so he can prove the doubters wrong.

How people get to the conclusion that jimenez, with his massive 841 minutes played in serie a last season is even remotely ready to play anything above a few coppa games is beyond me. And a substitute for figo :howler:? figo IS a substitute people, no need for substitutes for other substitutes...

I bet 99% of you have no idea who he is, and are just jumping on the wagon because some clueless regulars in here says he is any good...

Jimenez was a fantastic player at Fiorentina, but he has a shitty attitude. That is what worries me. As a player though, he's very good. Can play three different positions. Attacking central midfielder, winger and second striker.

Have my doubts how he will react on being in the stands in some matches though.

In some matches yeah. If Mancini really meant what he said, that Stankovic will be the first-choice AMC, Jimenez will have hard times ahead. Because I don't think Figo will be told to sit on the stands. It's like M.Gonzalez destiny to Jimenez. And we have also Solari trying to get some minutes at least on the bench (though his attitude is great considering the current situation).

I think he'll be a good addition to the squad. He comes on loan and he has great ability.

The most important aspect about his arrival is that he'll accept the bench and will not create problems because he'll do his best to secure a starting role and convince Inter to sign him on a permenant basis.

I still remember his goal against us during 2-1 defeat against Fiorentina in the Artemio Franchi stadium (season 05/06).
