Having not seen the game, I find it funny that some say Maxwell had a great game while some say he had an awful one!!!

My feeling is that he had a good one but people want static LB's that don't attack. To me, a perfect fullback is someone like Cafu: Great at going forward and crossing, average at defending but still backtracks. And since we lack creativeness and you win by goals, I'd rather have such fullbacks.

If your CD's have a good positionning sense, then the mistakes of a fullback are absorbed.

Kinda agreed on Mancini. But your ratings are ****ed up. 3/10 Ibra? He would be close to my MOM, after capitano.

what the hell did ibra do beside one assist??

he had zero chances on goal.
he lost the ball countless times (remember the one where maxwell passed to him and he just missed the ball and it went out of bounds), especially trying silly tricks

MOM?? lol

when adri does the exact same thing, he gets berated because he is playing "too deep", yet when ibra does it, he is MOM

interesting

Off course not. As Inter we must always win but it doesn't always happen. But there's no need to turn it into the end of the world.

True, but its not exactly an encouraging start

we cant really write this off as a one off either... Stuttered at the end last season, got beaten by Roma, poor form in the friendlies......

I think I'm going to the bookies to put a fiver on milan winning the league.

thats my point about the link up play. It's the midfield's fault more than anything, zlatan tried to assert himself as well as he could on the game

Ibra was among better players this match and was one of the main reasons why we lifted scudetto trophy last year. But ofcourse, i don't know what game you was watching, or if you was following Inter last year at all. Better continiu folowing Beckhams progres in Galaxy.

wtf does last year have to do with today's game??

one assist....
wow

Ibrahimovic has not been the best player, in the second half he did nothing and lose balls all the time.

If it was up to me, and I know it isnt, especially since I'm not, you know a qualified manager or anything... but...

Cordoba, Samuel, Recoba, Cruz out... Kompany perhaps and Diego in... as well as a right winger

Play a 3 - 4 - 1 - 2 using diego or stankovic as the playmaker

So, in reality you're really just pissed because Ibra stole Adri's spot in the squad? I know you didn't say that, but it definitely sounds like that.
Very biased view on him, how wil hel have chances on goal when our midfield doesn't set him up for 1? In fact, he was our ****in playmaker today:wallbang: Without Ibra I doubt we would have played as well as we did.
If you didn't notice, everybody lost the ball towards the end, everyone was tired obviously. When he was fresh I didn't see him lose a single ball. I blame Mancini for not putting in fresh players when they're tired.

Because Ibra is a support striker it's his job to play deep like that. And his tricks won us countless times so he can try them, they didn't work today but that will happen from time to time.

Adriano has been poor for 2,5 season so off course we aren't going to be patient with him.

Since when is Livorno worse than Udinese? Just b/c we dominate against Livorno and always play like shit against Udine does not make one team better than the other. Livorno finished in a Uefa Cup spot two seasons ago while Udine finished in 11th. Meanwhile, despite being spread thin between two competitions Livorno finished only 3 points behind Udine last season. As for Genoa a team's first game back in the Serie A in over a decade, against an arch rival, w/o opposing fans to heckle them certainly makes it that much harder for your opposition.

Lets not kid ourselves about this round people. In terms for current condition we are far behind where we should be and those of you who want to complain about it only being one game, against a touch opponent, be my guest. BUT the fact is the season has started. To see such a shitty performance from a team that is looking to not only challenge on a domestic but a continental level as well is a joke. If this really is a marathon then you are always at your highest motivation level at the start. Instead, I saw a lot of lethargy out there especially after we went one up.

Stankovic: "Non è un disastro"
Domenica, 26 Agosto 2007 17:29:16

We were lacking a bit of physical condition..." the Serbian midfielder told Sky Italia.

Hello! The season has started...

he played well, very well actually, defend well and attacked very well. when he was attacking, he never lost the ball.

and about ibra, he played lazily.. over-confidence?

Javier Zanetti,
No Dejan, YOU were " lacking a bit of physical condition ", because you cannot play past the 60th minute. Disappear, give away the ball, and fail to run anymore to support the strikers when we were down to 10 men.

Get on the treadmill fool.
