1. schalke goalkeeper/defender is sent off..
2. sneijder and eto'o on form
3. score an early goal
4. defender , frog and lucio on form
5. leonerdo can set a great tactic that outwit schalke

4 goals is always possible when you have an attack consisting of Sneijder, Eto'o and Milito. If all in form, we can do 4 goals.

Its obviously in defense that we should be worried. I have faith in Lucio and Frog... I'm really hoping Leo swaps Motta and Cambiasso positions. Cuchu just adds more protection. A better defender in my opinion.

I'll take no 2,3,4 and we can win and qualify. We don't need fancy tactics. Kepp it simple, maintain ball possessions, disrupt their defence. Bang! Bang! Bang!. and, probably I will add Milito to no 2.

Do you remember a CHL game in 2004 when Milan had crashed Deportivo 4-1 in Italy? When Rossoneri went to Spain they lost 4-0! We have to do something like this and go through like Deportivo did that year and then everyone will shut his mouth.

Schalke was lost 5-0 by 1.FC Kaiserslautern on 11/27/2010 .
I still believe we will beat them 4-0!!

If we play like we did the last 2 games then that's impossible...

pre-match the german reporters were asking metzelder about that chat he and wesley had in the tunnel (you know they played together at real madrid)

and metzelder said that sneijder admitted being exhausted. mind you, this was before the match.

and i dont believe that fatigue is an excuse, i think it might be the truth. see, we had to play 2 more matches AND win all of them. you cant save some energy and be content with a draw or so when you are trailing by 13 points, we were all out attacking since january and fuck, we came to -2 points and if those many games we absolutely had to win werent enough, the international break came.

i believe we would have beaten milan without the break if the derby was played only a week after milans palermo loss. they didnt had so many internationals i think and schalke neither.

speaking of schalke, they had a meaningless game on friday vs st. pauli.
we had an exhausting (it didnt help that we had to play with 10 men for 30+ mins either...) derby on saturday.

we had 2 days rest and again had to play with 10 men for 30´+ minutes.

of course, we defended like shit, but we are in a horrible physical condition at the moment. at least the starting 11.

and leo cannot rotate that much because we already play our best players and we dont have so many alternatives (especially offensively) and because you cant play some reserve players when you have to win every match at all costs.

Its more likely schalke scores 4 goals than we do.

I dont care about your superstitious horseshit and if you want nyall to create the "real" thread, then so be it, but why close that thread so people cant discuss the game now when Nyall hasnt created the "real" thread? Let people discuss the game FFS and merge it with Nyalls thread when he makes it.
