Yes, you can look it that way. Gasp was pretty unlucky so far in his Inter career but the problem is that his pre Inter career doesn't suggest that ''luck'' would work in his favor in the future.

We are going to watch a lot more of Cesar's brainfarts, Milito's misses, defensive collapses and so on with Gasperini.

That certainly is one way to look at it, and there is some weird yet purposeful logic behind it, I'd rather like to think that we ourselves hold our own fate and our actions will directly affect the outcome of this season. It's a very negative " looser" mentality, if you will, and I don't think that that's something we need around us at the moment. We are a winning team...and there's no reason why Gasp can't adopt our winning attitude. If it's possible for him to affect us.....then surely it can happen the other way right? It's his first major club, and his third official game. Many mightier before him were given much more slack before crucified, I think he deserves a little bit more time before hanging him to dry.

Honestly, I don't even think it's Gasp... not entirely anyways. There's been a certain malaise and indifference about this club, from Moratti to the janitor at Appiano Gentile, since the treble. Moratti (for reasons of FFP or simply not wanting to spend anymore) hasn't brought in talented players to replace the old guard. I hate being critical of a guy who loves Inter with a passion but I get the feeling he has a 'mission accomplished' vibe since the treble.

And speaking of the old guard. That being JZ, Maicon, Deki, Cuchu, Samuel, JC, Chivu, Milito. I'm not gonna say they don't care because I'm sure they do but the hunger just isn't there anymore. You can see it their eyes and the way they don't work as hard anymore. For fuck sakes, we had to be 10 points or whatever it was behind Milan and had to get a new manager just to fire these guys up! Age has also caught up to them. It's just an old group of footballers who have won everything there is to be won and they've lost the hunger. I really can't hate on them because all club accomplishments have been met and it's hard to keep that hunger you had 5 years ago. (Geez, evidently I need to purchase a thesaurus considering I used hunger 3 times in a short paragraph )

As for managers, well Rafa was supposed to be a good tactician but his motivational skills sucked and the players disliked him. Leo was the opposite. And Gasp? Well I believe he's in over his head tbh. Managing Genoa isn't like managing Inter. He was probably the 5th or 6th choice but because every other manager turned us down (perhaps wisely considering the state of our squad) we had to no choice but to roll the dice with him. I don't want him sacked yet but he's not a long-term solution and I think most people are aware of this.

I don't like being pessimistic but things are a bit bleak imo. This club still has lots of talent and lots of time to put it together obviously but it just feels like we're gonna have a repeat of last season. Only this time we don't have Eto'o and our key players are a year older...

Get rid of this gimp ASAP to save your season. He's like Roy Hodgson except he uses a goofy formation. Like poster above me said, in over his head.

Hire Carlo Ancelotti, who is currently out of work. Problem solved.

I don't know what was blocking Ancelotti from joining Inter so far but I hope he is the next one in line once Gasperini gets the boot.

Carlo is actually Romanista. But even if he was Milanista that's nothing comparing to Gasperini.

Ancelotti can only dream of being as big of a Milanista or Romanista as Gasperini is Jubentino.

Maybe this blocked any possible move. He was very clear that's why most dont even mention him as a solution.
