Hi my name is reality. How many times have you actually seen him play not on youtube? I should go out and make a youtube video of me doing tricks with a brazilian shirt on. I am 6'3 and pretty fast too. Maybe you'll all be dying for inter to sign me

:palm: typical crazy columbian facepalm post where he's missed the ENTIRE FUCKING POINT.

it isnt about whether or not he's good enough

but the FACT is that we spent like a month chasing the fucking guy, and as of yet, haven't signed anyone who fulfills the role we were trying to fulfill in chasing Paulinho....

but, thats okay, I'm used to you completely missing the point.

show me one fucking place in this thread where i said paulinho was what we needed, or would fix our problems, or anything? You can't, because I haven't....

Just to reiterate, since you can train dogs through repetition I assume it must work on idiots:

We've PUBLICLY chased Paulinho for like 5-6 weeks. We admit it, he admits it, his club admits it. We haven't even got a fucking CANDIDATE now (really) to replace him. It's NOT whether or not we think he's good enough, but that we were CLEARLY AND OBVIOUSLY in the market for a midfielder of some description. Now, I know how much you want to blow your load everytime you see someone discuss a brazilian footballer because, yes, they're all overrated and only Columbian footballers are world class, but the point is. We're clearly in for a midfielder, and we don't have any candidates at the moment to replace him - depsite having tried to find said midfielder for 6+ weeks now.

We didn't publicly go after Paulinho, we nearly signed him. The bid was accepted by 75% of the owners and then Corinthians come in and give him an extension to keep him.

So if Paulinho is our first choice then we might get a midfielder on loan for a year to tide us and get Paulinho next transfer window.

There's going to be another last minute Zarate.

Sadly Strama hasn't got the reputation yet to tell those guys to speed the fuck up. If it was Mourinho in charge of this team, he'd be pissed. One week to start of the season and the team isn't even close to finishing and we don't even look like we have got anything solid for any future deals. There's just poking certain scenarios with a stick.

And also:

Whoever calls this a rebuild needs to open up dictionary. This is a (poor) renovation (of an old, ugly flat).

If Branca leaves Strama with similar shit he has right now, then I think it has to be it for him. It is his chance of fixing his mistakes.

Lo Monaco is available...

How is this a good deal at ALL !! I prefer Gargano + Vargas + Money for Pazzo. Didn't we drop $19 million on his 1 1/2 years ago?

As for transfer season it's not done yet. We got rid of dead weight but still more to go. Please at least Stank. Or have Stank, Cambi, Maicon lower their wages. We got Guarin huge upgrade to our midfield, got Cou back, got Palacio who we've been chasing forever and got a new CB. We lowered our wages and now are about to make official a great LB that all the big teams want, a solid DM in De Jong. What more do you people want? I mean I'd love to get Falcao,Cavani, Hummels, Hamsik,Hulk and James too but this isn't Fifa 2013 !!! People bitch about our transfers but they are like I am going to go to the mall and kill 100 people if we bench Zanetti, Samuel, Cambi or Milito.

Until here i thought. Well good , rational post by smn who was asking for 4 defenders a few weeks back . :notbad:

We have 0 money and people bitch about our transfers it's not so bad but they want who Real, Man City or PSG want. At best we can get their rejects or just guys they aren't scouting.
I still want 4 defenders. I don't think our 4 are good enough and I stand by that. As for Zanetti I am fine with but CAmbi making $4 million euro a season and being the worst player on the field so far even worse than the youth players .... something has to change either his wages or uniform. Samuel is crap, gets bumped and is paralazed has had way to many knee injuries. Milito WE CAN"T ONLY DEPEND ON HIM !!!!

No hate if you bring in Higuian,Lucho González,Nicolás Otamendi,Emiliano Insúa,Erik Lamela,Nicolás Gaitán I'd be insanely happy. OR hell bring Diego Simeone as our coach. I just don't like over the hill players doesn't matter that they are Argie I want all the Over 32 guys out of here. Just so happens they are all Argies or Brazilian other than Chivu and Stank. I was asking for Cordobas head last year too.

I have to say...
Losing Balotelli was fine to me.
Losing Santon, was understandable, and I still agree with the decision.
Losing Bonucci (captain of the Primavera) to see him cap for Italy and sign for Juve was a kick in the teeth.
Losing Destro for no fucking reason, however, is a real kick in the balls.

Sum the value of these players and its like 35+5+15+15million, = 70million.

What did we trade them away for?
20m for Balotelli, 5m for Santon, Bonucci was valued at like 3-5m in a transfer for Milito -alongside a lot of other youth players - and Destro was to put a bit of cream ontop of already valued at 18+million Ranocchia.
Not even mentioning Poli.
Arguably 3 of the best 4 young Italian players, who have caps, grew up in the Inter nursery and were given away at half price.

Sad. Really depressing, to be honest.

I said proactively at the time that Destro would work out as a top class player. I personally never had any doubts about his ability, and anyone who followed him for his primavera seasons knew he deserved a shot too. The co-ownership I was fine with, getting rid of him entirely I was not.

Bonucci was a cut above the rest of the players we sent away as part of the Milito-Motta deal. He was in pre-season with us since he was 16, for gods sake. It wasn't 'clear cut' that he would work out, but to trade him off at a 3m valuation was clearly not a great idea.

Also

Show me any other club which has now owned 5 Italy internationals all under the age of 22/23 and lost them. I don't mean a small club either, I mean a big club. Like Milan, Juve, etc.

No one could guarantee that they would be who they are now if they stayed at Inter.

And their career paths would have been so different if they were out on co-ownership, instead?

Bonucci co-owned by Genoa, loaned to Bari... that's where he really made his name. I pushed all summer for signing both Ranocchia + Bonucci as I think that is a defensive partnership that really does work

Destro co-owned by Genoa, on loan to Siena...

Poli has just capped for Italy because of being at Inter..
