I wanted him even last year as a crazy idea. So it's a year too late, but nonetheless. This is an amazing deal, and we completely screwed Milan. I think all the weird dealings we made about ten years ago, was behind this. Because it makes no sense.

I just hope he can stay fit and sane, and we got ourselves the biggest natural talent that football has witnessed in the last ten years, bar Messi.

Thats what happens when you are filled with pessimism and fuck branca's all the summer. Now the optimism goes sky high and you say things like that.

I hope that you are aware that Cassano is not a better man now that he is at Inter and for sure he will do some crazy shit in here too. The deal was great but don't overreact so much.

What we've lacked under Gasperini, Benitez and Raineri, and only saw glimpses of under Leonardo, is players who play with enthusiasm. Even though Strama has managed to motivate certain players, you can't solely depend on your coach to enthuse the players - usually the captain assists in this matter, but Zanetti is too humble to fill such a role.

We've seemingly lacked a Matrix in the locker room since he left us, but with Cassano we have Matrix' craziness AND a huge improvement in the offensive department.

I can't really articulate how great I feel about this transfer.. but I feel great about this transfer!
