Older is older, older players having higher ceiling is something new I only heard of today.

This is what I don't understand; how is Belotti versus Correa even a conversation? They're completely different players. What are we looking to add to the team? It feels like there's no plan.

He has higher ceiling based on what he has showed in the past.

Belotti was beyond terrible at EURO. He played 216 minutes, 2/9 shots were on target, he missed a penalty.

It might be Mancini's tactics though. Immobile was shit too. I hope you guys are right about him.

Juric seems like Salcedo, we can insert Salcedo to reduce Belotti price.

Torino must be crazy to sell Belotti, this guy is the different between they will be relegated or not.

It seems clear to me that Inzaghi wanted one centre forward type and one second striker type. When it comes to senior players we can rely on, we now essentially have Dzeko and Lautaro for centre forward role and Sanchez for second striker role. Correa makes a lot of sense to fill that gap. The way I see it, Belotti would have been an alternative to Dzeko.

I don't think Inzaghi would be very happy to field any two player combo of Dzeko, Lautaro and Belotti.

Missed two penalties and both were poorly taken. I liked Belotti a lot but after that Euro's performance

Belotti did not miss two penalties; he scored his against Spain and it was actually quite good.

Dude what is this absurd striker mercato of ours

Can't afford Vlahovic for over €50m
> Can't afford Zapata for €40m
>> Can't afford Correa as Lotito is also asking for €40m
>>> Go for Thuram at €30m
>>>> Cunt gets injured, back to Correa now that Lotito has reduced his demands to €30m
>>>>> Can't afford Correa for €30m
>>>>>> Turn to Belotti for €25m

What are these fucken animals playing at? At this rate next week we'll be buying Okaka for €2m after being priced out of a €4m move for Pavoletti.

Good point,

But I'm not talking about a wide/2nd forward whose main job isn't scoring.
Inzaghi said he wants a striker who can score big goals and Correa isn’t it. The fact is we’ve seen what Correa can do under Inzaghi and I don’t think it’s impressive at all. Belotti, on the other hand, has a higher chance of improving or rediscover his own form under Inzaghi plus he’d be cheaper as well.

Not an advocate of Correa and also didn't pay much attention to what Inzaghi said.

I'm just against Belotti, there is nothing that suggests Belotti has higher chances of success. Why don't we try to rediscover Piatek or Schick or El Sharaawy while we're at it too?

What is this obsession of rediscovering all these one season wonders? And why do people think Inzaghi will improve these failures while Inzaghi himself clearly wants something else?

Idk maybe because we are broke and have no money? With 20m, we can do a lot worse. The discussion is about the two option that we have which is belotti and Correa; it’s a no brainer to get belotti especially when he’s cheaper.

Actually I think he was specifically referring to Correa. He didn’t mean big as in a large amount he meant big as in important, or in big moments. Correa has done that.
