yet he made 3? (one was called offside later)
I must have missed any big ones, BT was pretty laggy today. Mostly I remember him catching shots that had been hit pretty centrally.

Yep, I also think back three suits him much better than any other formation. Don't wanna jinx him, but his fuckups dried out significantly once we switched to back three.
He was also decent under Spalletti when we were still playing with a back 4. I think it's a mental thing. He just couldn't handle the pressure of being a starter at a top club and people having high expectations on him. His current role suits him much better.

Solid game. Hope we show the same against Sheriff and Milan.

Dumfries except that assist was a pain to watch and I wonder if Lazaro was that bad to not get a chance instead of him?

2 beautiful goals by Correa, even though he was invisible before the goals. Let's see now if Salernitana and Roma could get some points tonight.

haha Vidal wants that clean sheet
I love his warrior-like passion. Too few of our players show this. They're either whining at each other or flailing their arms around or standing about with their heads down and shoulder sagged.

Just a bunch of bitches.

This was hilarious. Deulofeu almost shat himself.

Winning comfortably and keep consecutive clean sheet. All done with some rotation in the last 2 matches. Credits to Simone and our fringe players. The only thing I regret was we should have give more rest time for barella and broz.

Juve lost so this is perfect weekend. Don't really care about Milan, they will slow down eventually

I am a bit late to this thread as I have been sick.

I watched the match live and thought we managed the game well. I liked how we played in the first half. The only thing missing was a goal. During half time, I commented how anonymous Correa had been and then he came up with a brace.

I think there may be a double standard where he is concerned. There were games when Lukaku was nowhere to be seen and popped up to score. But we seem to hold Correa to a different standard. Not to mention the fact that he has been injured and has been struggling with his form.

I thought Perisic was brilliant. The way he reads the game, his dummy and trickery made great viewing. While I was watching him, I felt that he was putting in an inspiring performance.

I also thought that Skriniar was great. His leadership, encouragement and the way that he stepped in on at least two occassions to make cruicial defensive interventions when Udinese attacked on the break. I thought he put in a real Captain's performance, especially when it came to encouraging Barella after the latter was frustrated/angry after he did not convert one of his first half chances. It was great to watch and I feel that Skriniar could easily be and fulfill the role of future Captain.

I thought Barella was also very good. After the first half, I wondered whether Inzaghi has been encoourgaing him to shoot from distance. While watching him in the first half, I could not help but feel that Inzaghi has let him off the leash and gives him the freedom to roam and get his feet dirty. Whereas under Conte, it often felt that Barella was being muzzled or restricted by the way Conte expected him to play. Just on the Captaincy, there have been reports that he will be our future Captain. At this point in time, I feel Skriniar is the better option.

Dumfries is raw and clumsy. The more I watch him, the more I am convinced that he is not Inter/Serie A material. He just lacks the overall quality to turn into a special player for us, especially when it comes to his crossing, defending and composure when trying to finish. Having said that, I appreciate the effort he puts in and the way he cut back to find Correa at the top of the box.

Handanovic put in a strong showing. There were a few occassions when he was called into action and made crucial saves and Ranocchia was solid. I felt Udinese were a good opponent for him.

I laughed when Sensi came on. The guy looked as though he had forgotten how to play football. I remember a dribble shortly after he came on. It looked awkward because the ball was not keeping pace with how he was moving. I honestly thought that he only has one leg.

Lastly, I just want to say a word in relation to a couple of the Udinese players whose surnames made me laugh: Success and Soppy. Regarding the former, the player did not seem overly burdened by his surname nor did he seem to see the irony of playing for Udinese with such a name. In relation to the latter, I thought about his wife (if he has one) and how she would not be too happy with being Mrs Soppy.
