An improbable exchange, not least of which Alexis' wages are far from workable for current Barca. Even from sporting perspective, there's no logic to him coming in...Luuk going out however, absolutely on the cards

Sánchez with a broken leg is an infinitely better player than Luuk de Jong. I would rather have one man less than to count on him.
I don’t really hate clumsy players (like Dumfries) as much as injury prone players bro. Fuck talent if everytime he goes to Chile he returns in an wheelchair. We are paying 7m net for Sanchez, not free, you know that.

I don’t care about Luuk. I care that Dzeko can catch a breath here to and there when we are in a safe lead. He MUST rest to be in top form.

Ofc we could target another striker. Like I said, I don’t care. But you guys please keep in mind we have only 10m for this mercato while you are asking for a good midfield AND a good striker?!?

I am really surprised you're in favor of this swap. You always argue we shouldn't sign mediocre players just for the sake of quantity. And now you're arguing in favor of this swap deal. Luuk de Jong is as mediocre as it gets. The guy has failed everywhere outside Netherlands. Gladbach. Newcastle. Sevilla. Barcelona. It was hilarious when Koeman brought him to Barca. This level is way out of his league.

I only want to get rid off Sanchez salary and bring someone to give Dzeko a rest. He won’t cancel his contract so if this is the only way to have more funding elsewhere, go for it.

Yeah I don’t really like this deal, far from it. But we must somehow reduce the amount of glassmen in our team. If Dzeko crumbles now due to fatigue our season is gone and dusted. He is 36yo already.

Edit: Btw it makes no sense to continue this discussion. Seems like a bs report from Sport.

Dzeko will catch a rest when we are eliminated from the Champion League by Liverpool.

Alexis will be crucial in the Scudetto battle. If we offload him, I don't like our chances that much. Especially with what I hear as potential replacements.

Totally agree. I trust him more than Correa to be honest.

Sooner or later Alexis and his wages will have to go but Luuk is not a suitable replacement. Since everyone is obsessed with the “one leg Alexis is better than…” theory, we should send one of his legs to Basel and another leg to Empoli to recall Esposito and Pinamonti. Both clubs should be happy.

Dunno wassup with him and Dzeko tonight. Constantly blaming one another. For a moment they kept exchanging cazzo with one another for 3/4 rounds. He’s really getting on my nerves lately

If Barca want him, it's going to cost big time. Hope Inter keeps him so are chances increase for another Scudetto!

Given what he offers as a player and given his recent form, I am confident that our management sees that he has a contribution to make between now and the end of the season.

I do not think we will be giving him up in the Winter transfer window as there are no viable alternatives to take his place.

With Alexis, my greatest fear is his next call up to play for Chile.

Sanchez and Vidal have played less minutes this season, but their minutes per goal contributions is right up there. They are key impact subs for us in our defence of our Scudetto, just like Sanchez was last season as well.

We're never getting rid of him.

IMO goals should be weighted to give context, scoring a 3rd or 4th goal vs Salernitana when the game is already won shouldn't have the same value as late winners vs Udinese or Verona.

Sanchez has to start alongisde Lautaro/Dzeko in most matches. As of today, he offers something the aforementioned players just can't.

Yeah that duo is deadly. Exactly like with Hakimi. Sanchez just sees those openings there, every time.
