I really appreciated your opinion, but for us that mostly became fans from 1998-1999, we are adamant that serie a used to be a league for prime footballer,How old is that old time interista? Bcoz serie a is always "the league for washed up footballer" since I start watching it (early to mid 2000s back when it's still considered one of top 3 alongside epl & la liga).
There's no denying that serie a is shit/in continuous decline since calciopoli, but players age is hardly a good indicator for those. The attendance in stadium, the results of Italian clubs in Europe or financial revenues (TV rights & sponsorship) of said clubs is much more better indicator. After all, Manchester united and PSG are relying on 35++ as their main source of goals, yet nobody will say that it's a sad day for English and France football
Marcelo salas, lopez, boban , ivan zamorano, crespo, sheva , and both inter and milan used to be lead by a strikers in their best year
(like Bierhoff, sheva, weah, adriano, ibrahimovic )
Both inter and milan , no longer have the resources to recruit the best player in their position, which is deeply concerning for us here, we honestly don't know what's really wrong with the league as a whole, but we really hope that there's gonna be changes within the league
Honestly speaking, most of fans in our group were only following inter and italian league, we don't know the real condition of premier league, but if both psg and man u still have the resources to recruit the best player available,
and we believe most of the english team are capable to recruit the best player, then it's not a sad day for epl ( we dont know too much about ligue so we can't make any comment)
