Bring Icardi back and ask PSG to subsidize his salary

we played okay but one substitution till minute 85, very strange .... I mean it seemed that Simone talk in the half was good but after the Liverpool substitutioins, Inter should have also changed.
The problem is our subs is kinda bad compare to Liverpool subs.

the team continues playing without strikers..we can't blame other players in this last games. Maybe De Vrij or Handa sometmes, but our forward is doing not enough. We are much better then Milan and Napoli, only a fucking striker is missing in this team, someone who can score. Today we would have scored at least 2 goals.

I will say this right now, selling Lautaro before WC is madness. He will feast again for Argentina and we need to find a way for him to feast here.

We need more quality upfront, not to sell what we already have.

Stop blaming Inzaghi.

Blame the Italian outdated style of football, It doesnt work in europe.

Regardless of the obvious difference in quality player for player, Inter should do better against Liverpool. But they cant, because they are stuck of old italian coaching principles, even a fairly new italian coach like inzaghi arent free of these. Ofcourse even if Inter had played a more modern game they would likely have lost over 2 legs, but they likely would have been a made into a joke by losing 0-2 at home either, i hate when this happens to great historical clubs like Inter. We all know you lost 3 superstars in Lukaku, Hakimi and Eriksen, but this is pretty pathetic and it has alot to do with the outdated football philosophy in italy.

Did we play 3-5-2 or 3-5-0 against Liverpool. Damn :yao:

Can we get Lewa or Benzema next season ?

Dzeko-Lautaro barely works agains like of Bologna and Udinese, so what to expect in UCL knockout against Lpool.
We need fresh and classy striker next season, who will realize chances created from transition (we had at least 5-6 transitional counter plays stopped when ball reached Dzeko or Lautaro) otherwise this CL mediocrity will continue.

Dumfries and Perisic were quite good, Calha was decent. Defence did amazing job, specially in 1st half keeping Mane and Salah in pockets.

I would not make a big deal of this result. We tried, we failed to convert our chances so in the end we got fucked. Forget it and move on. We have a much more important game on Sunday.

Our forwards better wake up soon.

Liverpool are not really light years ahead of Inter or Real Madrid are not really light years ahead of Inter. Inter have generally been pussies in this competition. And thats the fact.

Watch A smaller more determined club like a Salzburg knock out Liverpool.
Lol no, the only reason we lost this game was a lack of depth. The determination was definitely there.

Klopp puts 3 players in 60th minute to turn the tide when it seemed like Inter were close to scoring. Inzaghi had no such option for him.

You know where is going when you see our history match against big teams this season.

Especially in last 10 match, Lautaro seems worst than Sensi.

Fuck the WC, we need his goals now.

Lautaro yeah he works hard, but the dude is so friggin frustrating. We are gonna bottle the season if our forwards struggle this much.

We seriously need some speed and flair.

As others have said already we need a striker that is technical, fast, and have the ability to dribble/flair.
Hakimi was the last person on the team that had exactly these attributes and he opened up so much space for Barella and Lukaku so they could shine.

Absolutely deflated and heart broken, we didn't deserve to lose 1-0 let alone 2.

Listen the lads played well, no fault to anyone imo, I'm proud of all our players, yes we need more from them especially up top but for the chances given towards us pre game none of us can be mad. Salah was invisible for 80 mins, did Mane even play? Fabinho was schooled all game. We have to draw the positives from the game.

Listen even I will admit Anfield is a huge ask but I'm also not going to act like we can't grab 2 goals, you all saw us tonight we could've easily been the team that won 2-0 tonight and at Anfield I'm expecting an even better performance from the lads.

I have to give special mention to Vidal and SDV because there players who are shat on constantly and I personally thought they were both outstanding tonight.

Perisic man of the match on our side closely followed by Hakan.

Onto the 2nd leg we go, I'm proud and I will be confident we can pull off the unthinkable and snatch a draw in 90mins then anything is possible.

Forza Inter.

Unfortunately we didn't have Barella and Joaquin has been disaster in the last few months with the injuries.
I still think we can challenge the in Liverpool.

We play quite modern and attacking football..

Having 8 shot vs Liverpool's 9 shots at 75 mins of playing game is considered bad, outdated???

What we lack is real forward strikeforce, and fully fit Barella. Dude check stats of Inter and find us in the very top of European clubs in top 5 leagues this year.
We are in top 5 chance creators stats, but having poor finishers is what keeps us far away from being more successful.

It's no point of keeping a clean sheet or conceding minimum, point is to OUTSCORE your opponent.

Don't mind conceding the first goal, shit happens, but what was interesting about it is how it killed us and disappointedly made us lose heart. And it shows our lack of strength in depth, in that we had no one bar Sanchez to bring on to get us back level.
