The largest market I have direct access to is France and they've been sold out for a while.
Importing from the UK would have been an option but the taxes involved make it a mess.
There is a waiting list on playstation.com (?) - on their local site, probably .fr for you. Im in the same boat. I think im going to wait for the ps5 pro when it comes out. Faster framerate, just overal better.

Been waiting for so long Iv decided to wait some more lel. There is not really a reason for me to switch tbh, my old ps4 still works and I only play Sekiro, maybe Days gone. Off and on, not to much.

Just finished Miles Morales and loved it. RT Performance mode looks so dope on big screen, I'm not used of games looking this good.

Looks like Green Goblin and Venom will be big factors in Spiderman 2

I'm thinking based off the trailer that Venom is a playable character, which is long overdue imo. Just not a fan of Harry being Venom. Hopefully something happens early on in the story that leads to Eddie getting the symbiote.

Tell me more.
Also tell me where i can get a PS5
Just like the old GTs simply a great game if you are a car enthusiast and like racing games. As always the graphics are outstanding and so is the driving mechanics. To me it s just pure fun to have 100s of cars to choose from and race em on tracks and every single one of them will handle differently.
Imho probably the best driving simulator there is especially when considering that you have a variety of different races and cars.

There are some down sides the story is rather short( not sure if necessary though) like i still have races that i have not driven yet but now it s just a pick and choose and they dont tell you any more which races to enter. I just hope that i can still unlock ew races even if the "story" is over as otherwise the offine gaming fun would be a bit short. I only drove in 3 online races and the experience there is a bit mixed 2 i was in races where "kids" would just go nuts in the first couple of corners and not brake and if you were in the unlucky ones to get hit your race was basically over. Then again the one races where everybody took it serious was fucken great. I also like the difficulty of the game as in you can mosty finish top 3 when driving casually and having a good/great car, but then finishing 1st with just an adequate car can be very challenging. Just like the licences and other challenges where getting Gold can be very challenging while just passing it is rather easy even if you drive with the hardest settings. One other thing to point out is that the most expensive car to buy is like 19 mio of their coins and i think the highest price money for a single race is like 250k, so they really wanna incentivise you to buy VCs with real cash. That being said i never had to struggle for cash if i was struggling with a race it was rather because i refused to upgrade my car or buy a better one and not because i could not afford to.

Bottom line it s a great racing game that you can play casually but that can also get really hard if you want to.

On the PS5 man i think you just have to stay updated all the fucken time. I know here usually one or two retailers per months get in new shipments but they are sold out within minutes....

I borrowed a Switch from a buddy a few weeks ago. He gave me Mario Party and Mario Kart and I’ve played with a few groups of friends which resulted some fun nights. I can keep it until May and I’ve been thinking about buying one for myself but looking at the prices I’ll ultimately decide against it I believe. The console including Mario Kart costs 330€, Mario Party 50€ and another set of joy cons another 70€. That’s around 450€ for the most basic equipment… dude. The are a few other standout games which are of course also expensive as fuck. I’m not a stingy person at all but those prices are a major turn off. The pool of let’s call them elite exclusives doesn’t seem to be particularly deep either, especially considering the console is 5 years old. Such a shame tbh because those local multiplayer games are so much fun.

We only got it because we got it for 200+, barely used, with Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey and another Mario game. And well, I thought I couldn't get a PS5.

Nintendo is stingy and barely ever drop prices. Zelda games, Mario games and some of choice titles like Hades/Ori/Metroid Dread/Death's Door/Disco Elysium work good enough to play. But seriously it's more suited for games you can keep on playing, the games just cost too much to have more than ten games.

Mario Kart has new tracks for additional 20 bucks

Switch is great but not value for money. Unless you travel a lot.

That typically falls under the student/teen category which is obviously the main market.

I meant for people outside of the normal target market.

Nah, I'd say Xbox/PS are made for those ages + people that play multiplayer online + singleplayer games, while Switch is for families + people that like home multiplayer. Even myself, who has parents almost 60 years old, everytime they visit we play a game or two of Mario Kart. All Nintendo exclusives are made to be simple to understand, hard to master.

Nintendo you can spend 5-10
Minutes and it’s a lot of fun. Not as deep or hard so anyone can play.

Ps5/Xbox it takes 10
Minutes to turn on and remember what you are suppose to do next…..

The big systems don’t have a Mario or any of his family games to waste a few minutes

Or do any of you have fun in 5-10 minutes of Elden ring or gta?

Unravel games? Among Us? Hades? Plants vs. Zombies? Maneater? Fall Guys? Rocket League? PS exclusive Astro Bot? All games you can easily play just 5 minutes or 5 hours. Astro Bot is the closest we'll ever get to a Mario game on Playstation.

I know you're a family man and you don't have time to know about all these games, but don't just make statements like that. There are a lot of 'quick' games out there on Xbox and PS that are worth playing.

I loved the free robot game that teaches you how to use the controller. But like let’s be honest most of us deleted it :) ps5 only lets you have 5-6 games downloaded :)

I don't know about that. Have you played games 15 years ago? You could wait more than one minute for the game to even get to the main menu.

PS5 is extremely fast for games that are updated for SSD disks. Spiderman: Miles Morales is INSTANT. Days Gone is loaded in 20 seconds compared to PS4s 50 seconds. GT7 is pretty good and so is Demon's Souls.

You have to wait at least 30 seconds for Zelda: BOTW to load.

lol again with misinformation. Yeah, if you only have Call of Duty downloaded, you only got space for 5-6 games. At this moment I got downloaded Spiderman: Miles Morales, Fifa 21 PS4, Fifa 21 PS5, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Elden Ring, Shadow of the Colossus, Arkham City, Arkham Knight, Persona Strikers, Ratchet and Clank (the PS4 version), Telltale Batman, Trackmania, Rocket League, Fall Guys, Mirror's Edge Catalyst and The Last of Us. And still got another 100 GB space if I want to download something.

My friend bought an extra SSD disk for 60 bucks, another 480 GB of space and it works great. Seeing how cheap a PS5 digital is, 825 GB SSD disk (667 GB for games) is actually good enough.
