Was bout to say Toro was up there with the worst #10s but then i looked it up: Dalmat, Bergkamp, Jovetic, Ciao

I'm seriously rooting for Lautoro tho, i loved how he came in, unphased and eager to play, but I feel like he set the bar too high for himself.

If we have player like Dalmat today he would be MVP of season. That guy was Ronaldo Nazario compared to Loltaro.

At least Lautaro showed that he can work in the right system and with the right players. But he rarely does something by himself (like the Liverpool goal), we had Eto'o, Ibra, Adriano, Ronaldo, Lukaku ... and Lautaro just ain't the type.

I'm not sure if I want to sell him this summer or not. He's good, but he ain't world class, but can we really upgrade on this? Even if Lukaku and Dybala come, will we really do better than fight for Scudetto and first knockout round exit?

Inzaghi should pair him and Correa but it wont happen unfortunately.
Biggest regret of the season is that we never got to see these two together for a prolonged period. I really think Lautaro playing as a striker with Correa as a support striker could be dangerous if given the time to gel.

IMO Lautaro’s struggles have a lot to do with the fact he can’t combine at all with Dzeko. He’s not a player who is going to just generally be dangerous on his own because he has no outstanding physical attribute. Also, he is not a support striker despite his stature. I think people expect him to get involved in play more like he’s a support striker. If you compare his contributions in general play to a SS he is always going to stack up poorly, however if you compare his contributions in overall play to other strikers I think he stacks up much better. Especially with the dominant style we play under Inzaghi having essentially no passengers in the build up is important. When we play Dzeko - Lautaro we are essentially playing with ten at times.

I think Lukaku was run a lot unlike Dzeko.
Lautaro slow + Dzeko slow = disaster.
Lukaku fast + Lautaro slow = awesome.

Correa sometimes passive, unlike Perisic who run run run, the best player who can make Lautaro shine again is PERISIC.
But we need Perisic in the left side, plus we had Alexis, Dzeko, and Correa.

Losing Lautaro not too much different right now, i think Satriano can fill Lautaro boots next year.

We need more competent Center Forward than Dzeko.

If our attack was so good that Lautaro was our bench option, we'd be scoring goals for fun. Sanchez & Lautaro combo is sooooo good.

I find the transfer speculation regarding Lautaro to be really off putting. The players being named as replacements are simply not as good as Lautaro and a big part of his problem this season has been his partnership with Dzeko. Personally, I feel it is wrong to look at his performances and contributions in isolation.

Looking to sell him very much shows the direction in which we are heading. We are not going to significantly strengthen the squad and improve from where we are now with the likes of Scamacca or Belotti as replacements.

Big if, but if Dybala is signed, I'd be very intrigued to see how these two mesh. He plays so well with Alexis and Dybala is essentially Alexis on steroids.

No he isn't. He is just younger and as injury prone.

28 year old Sanchez would ve kicked this Dybala's arse all over the pitch.

Missed a tap-in one meter from the line and then scored an impossible flick two minutes later. That's pretty much the definition of an inconsistent player.

Wrong actually. Suarez consistently misses easy chances then scores worldies. Many world class strikers have this syndrome too.

He probably means that impressive volley from up close. I don't see that one a big fail, he had to shoot quickly and I'm impressed it flew so nicely, usually those go fly high
