Transfer GuruMy preferred option for striker is Darwin Nunez. Yes, he will cost a bit. But we need someone of that quality.
Maybe its more realistic if we sell Martinez+Sanchez to get Nunez+Dybala. But I would prefer to keep Martinez, and play him with Nunez. Its time to spend some of that Lukaku money.

Good point. Probably not. I’m praying we get Bremer and then after that I’m not expecting much unfortunately.. Scamacca and Dybala would probably come to replace Lautaro. Otherwise we’re not investing heavily in a forward.

I don't know how good quartet Lautaro, Dzeko, Dybala, Correa would be for next season but that wouldn't involve too much spending on attack. Switching Lautaro to Scamacca, I don't think our attack is better with that change. Of course that would mean we could be able to reinforce our midfield (Frattesi etc) so that's balances the "trade" a bit.

10 years of FIFForum SupporterI don't think this would improve our attack much at all. Dzeko is the real issue. We could survive another season with Sanchez instead of Dybala if we upgraded over Dzeko.

10 years of FIFDzeko is an issue as a starter. Off the bench he can still be useful, especially with his height.
Sanchez is an issue all around. He always tries to overcomplicate things, both in defense and attack. No matter how brilliant he can be once a while, he’s not worth the risks. He’s also an issue when not playing, something something Lamborghini. He’s also a bigger issue financially.
Sanchez simply needs to leave.

Most Humorous MemberIf Dybala replaces Sanchez would we need to upgrade our Dzeko though? With the way Lautaro is playing he would be our first choice #9 and Dybala would support him, with Dzeko and Correa on the bench as respective backups.
As Cafe said, this would be the "cheapest" way of managing our attack for next season, but I have some reservations such as Lautaro's consistency. Guy is on fire now, but who knows if he can be trusted to truly lead the line next season? Not to mention Dybala's injury history.
It's a complicated situation. There's a ton of "ifs" and no money for guarantees.

10 years of FIFNo. If that happens I leave it to that and focus on offloading all the deadwoods and reinforce the midfield and defence line.
Maybe a 5th forward on loan like Gio Simeone, or a free agent like Cavani might not be a bad idea, but I prefer not to overspend on someone like Scamacca and spend our small budget on bringing in Bremer and new midfielders.
