it's amazing how Perisic only found his best position (left wing back) at 31-32 and now playing the best football of his life at 33. He was not bad as a winger but nowhere near great or consistent enough. If he wasn't converted to WB, he might have been forgotten by football world by now. Even more amazing that WB is the most physical/stamina demanding position in football and WBs often reach their peak very early (22-26). Somehow Perisic is still running up and down the flank tirelessly for 46 games so far this season. This guy is a freak.
