If there is the game to show your abilities to the world, and make your name heard it's this one against milan. I have no doubts that Sassuolo will be fired up and with the best squad possible. This game will be most watched and on big stage like that no one wants to look bad.
I put my hopes that milan won't be able to handle pressure. If they win it surely won't be because Sassuolo let them win. What happens happens.

Also game is played on May 22nd, might not mean anything but just wanted to put it out there.

I have no concerns about Sassuolo's competitiveness; only their competence. They aren't that good of a side. Despite looking like 2012 Barcelona against us, they haven't been in good form for months.

If they only needed a draw instead of a win I'd be more optimistic. Alas.

A Milanista friend of mine raised an interesting point to me today: Milan might get complacent or lazy and play for a draw (which is enough for them). A late goal out of nowhere by Sassuolo in the final minutes might fuck up everything. Not an impossible scenario IMO.
Red card, penalty, everything is possible. Probably not likely but still possible.

Imagine this scenes:

Only two times in seria a history second best team in last round managed to win scudetto. Inzaghi was involved both times. Our chances are unbelivable slim.
Ha I like the stat

Was inzaghi the winner both times?

He actually was. Lazio won Serie A in 2000 thanks to Juve loss in Perugia. I am sure you know the second occasion. 2002.

Btw we have annual celebrations of May 5th on Italian media but no one really talks about that match in Perugia. It's like it has been erased from memory. Typical Italian journalism.

Signing 34 year old Di Maria on 7m a season wages while refusing to offer Dybala a similar deal is exactly what is wrong with post-Marotta Juventus.
its nice to know the mistakes that got them to where they are now will continue to occur in the future too

No, they play different positions. Di Maria actually fits better to this Juve than Dybala. Di Maria slots to the right winger position in 4-3-3. He can play with Vlahovic and Chiesa while Dybala honestly can't.

Could be a good short term option for them tbh, Chiesa - Susan - Di Maria could work well for them. But who cares.

There are rumours from France that talk about 1+1 but Juve sources claim it needs to be at least a 2-year contract to be eligible for growth decree.

That's true. Needs to be 2 years. They might do 2 but with an option to terminate after 1 for legal reasons though that may end up with Juve having to pay back tax relief - I assume we would have to after hakimi as well for example
