It's the Marotta way of making deals. He approaches the player early, trying to convince him it's in his best interest to accept his proposal and reject everyone else. Once he has achieved that he leaks his interest to the public and let time pass so the other side will realise they have no option but to find an agreement with Marotta. Once they have accepted that, Marotta starts negotiations with the club which usually drag a lot and they eventually find an agreement after weeks of negotiating, if not months.

I understand this and I generally like the Marotta's style if work, but ...if we had money. Because now, it's a bit awkward to negotiate 4 months with the player, just to say to Torino that you can afford only 10mln+Pinamonti kind of offer, when the player has already been gathered a lot of interest.
Anyway, I hope I'm wrong and we get him at the end, without any dramas.

Again, we did not negotiate 4 months with the player. We had agreement with the player 4 months ago. We started negotiating with him last year.

I wanna say Skriniar-Bremer-Bastoni would be a damn nice trio at the back but I have a feeling one of Skriniar or Sandro will be sacrificed. Losing either would be devastating tbh

Bremer's agent has 4 Inter playing clients, the deal is wrapped.
Who`s Bremer`s agent? According to transfermarkt.com it`s CAA BASE LTD

verified since May 12, 2022 and I can`t spot any Inter player.

Anyway, I`ve been confident about this deal since February as the player wants to join. Hope we can insert some player in the deal.

We have to firstly sell best players to gain money. Then PSG hijacks Bremer deal and we are taking Acerbi.
Luckily Leonardo fucked up with Mbappe and he will be sacked by P$G.

BREMER WILL BECOME ELIGIBLE TO PLAY FOR ITALY

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Torino defender Gleison Bremer will become eligible to play for the Azzurri as his wife will apply for an Italian passport.

Bremer was named Best Serie A Defender for 2021-22 by Lega Calcio and is one of the most sought-after centre-backs in Europe. He has recently extended his contract with Torino until 2023, but will likely leave the club in the summer, with the Granata looking for a sale in the region of €25-30m.

According to Gazzetta, Bremer could change both club and country in the next few months as his wife Deborah Claudino will apply for an Italian passport.

She was born in Brazil but has Italian ancestors, so she can apply for Italian citizenship. Once she obtains it, Bremer will do the same as the Brazil-born defender is keen to get an Italian passport as well.

According to the report, Italy coach Roberto Mancini is closely monitoring the situation, although it remains to be seen whether Bremer will accept to play for Italy. The 25-year-old has never played in any Brazilian youth team and, of course, he has never made his senior debut with La Seleçao.
Just make sure to keep Bastoni.

I never thought I would see the day when we needed and wanted a Brazilian Centre Back playing for Italy's national team. WTF has happened to football in this country!

Can go back 50 years and the lineup is always stupidly good

Does he play in De Vrij position or more Skriniar/Bastoni?

In some rare good news CdS is saying Bremer is done for €30m. €4m wages. Also mention of a counterpart heading to Torino. Hopefully Pinamonti and not Dimarco (especially with Bastoni being forced out the door :palm:)

€4M salary sounds excessive to me, why would that be good news?

I expect DiMarco to go the other way and Bastoni to stay.
