If Bastoni played in PL he would be worth 80mil€, change name to Andy Bast and he would go for 100mil.

No matter what out finance situation is, 60mil€ of Bastoni would be simply unacceptable and a valid reason for the ultras to go apeshit against Suning.

Just realized Marotta might be sellining to Paratici...that should end only with a ridiculous price tag, or I'll reconsider the way I see Paratici

Skriniar, Barella, Bastoni are the red lines for me. I'd accept Lautaro over them, De Vrij + Dumfries, etc.
Same here.

Lautaro, Hakan, De Vrij, Dumfries (even though seems like a good guy) I could get over easily. Also Correa yes please.

Fuck Suning ! I'm done with Inter if he's really gone. No more yearly official jerseys for me
Concur on jersey, the only marketing option I'd consider is Black and Blue stripe paper bag with eye holes. Even though I'll be watching on Paramount + at home....

it seems we are going to have a long summer . we will endure this Bastoni saga untill the last day of mercato. but I believe that if Inzaghi insist on refusing it Marotta and co would have to find another option. Inzaghi now has more barganing position unlike last season when he was just nobody. and Fuck Suning to be honest.

For me Skriniar and Bastoni are not for sale and they are really… really hard to replace with same quality. Anyone else if great offer come I would listen?

If Lautaro was sold I would be satisfied if we got Duvan and Dybala. Duvan contract ends 2023 and I think he would be good partner to Dybala. Lautaro still continue to struggle with consistency.

If Barella was sold I think De Paul would be good replacement and would suit well to Limone-ball. Same as Lautaro Barella still seem to struggle with consistency. But my first choice would be Gravenberch as his contract end 2023 and Ajax is asking 30m. Also Bissouma would be strong candidate and he was very impressive at Brighton. He can play both CM and DM and his contract end 2023.

I think Barella would be the easiest to replace as there are many good players or eaven better options for cheaper price.

As for Bastoni… Romagnoli, Acerbi, Dimarco… not eaven close! Maybe Botman would be good but we need someone who can play ball and make runs with a ball! Bastoni is key player for 3 at back formation!

Gravenberch is going to Bayern,I think it's already a done deal.

Sad thing is we will be fighting for weeks now which of our core players we should sell when the only right answer is no one.

To me im already considering this a done deal. Not spending time in denial like last summer. Suning will get their money and we will move forward. Also would bet good money they sell Lautaro and loan Lukaku for additional funds after an "unbelievable offer" comes in late.

This is a lot harder than last summer tbh. Hakimi was one of the best in his position and he loved playing for Inter but he was never expected to stick around for long and he always dreamed of returning to Real. Lukaku sale also made sense from every aspect. Lukaku was at his peak and it was the best time to sell him all things considered (age, Conte and Pintus departure) and the deal was simply too good to refuse. Timing sucked but you can't have it all.

On the other hand, a Bastoni sale sucks from every aspect. He's an Interista who wants to stay at Inter for years, a rare breed of cbs that is very hard to find and crucial in our build up game. Even from a financial aspect, selling Bastoni makes zero sense. He's still in a low salary and he just turned 23 which is extremely young for a cb. His value could rise significantly in the next few years. Bastoni should be the last we should ever consider selling.

Skriniar-Bastoni-Barella-Brozovic-Lautaro.
This 5 are our core. Can't sell any of them.
If either one of them leaves (undecided on Lautaro tbf), im done with football. Will probably just check score after the match, but not gonna stay up for any of the matches or skip anything for Inter games untill Suning has fucked off.

If we sell Bastoni and DeVrij and get Gvardiol and Bremer instead believe me my friend we'll have in years to come best defence trio in a world.

We have zero imagination with transfers most of the time.Always few years too late to catch Gvardiol and similar players when they are cheap.

Yeah, they can't play in super ultra tough Serie A,we need experience cause we had so much success in last 10 years with that experience and "win now" mode.

Incidentally, Bastoni is the one example you could point to of the opposite - a young, inexperienced player who wasn't even established at Atalanta, who we actually made quite an expensive chance on, then loaned him out to a relative minnow in Parma, where he ultimately played regular minutes. Then he returned and was promptly trusted - by Conte of all people - when we had an injury crisis. And delivered from day one.

It's the exact opposite of the typical 'Inter buys young player'-story that we've been so used to for twenty years.
And by all means, by all measurable variables, it has been a massive succes and a massive succes story. He's here, he's a starter, he's one of our most important players, he's one of our best players, he's got a skill set that's pretty much unique, he's young, he bleeds black and blue, he's a locker room leader, he's a potential future captain, he has said he wants to be here for life which you almost never see in modern football...
Even if we could afford Gvardiol (hah), there's about a 5% chance he'd turn out as well for us as Basto has...

And the latter will ultimately be showed the door for a relatively measly sum because a Chinese retail chain's endeavor into football has, for them, turned into a financial catastrophe which they can't invest in, and, for whatever reason, they will not let go off untill they've bled the asset dry and the loan sharks are literally at the door.

That's what makes this so extremely disheartening in a way that Hakimi and Lukaku leaving can't even begin to compare to.
