We need to re-start a poll for Eriksen, i like him a lot (i voted yes, now i vote no) but should not be there. Also Luis Figo hv no idea what he is doing there...

If for you he was great only this season, it's pointless to continue this conversation.

Yup, we gotta have high standards for LGI no?

Anyway, just my opinions, casted my vote, feel free to disagree.

Each person has his standards about LGI and it's perfectly fine. We don't have to agree on this and that's what make these discussions interesting.

As for my standards, i could never vote LGI for this guy:

He wanted out after just two seasons. That's a red line for me. He was forced to stay because we never found an agreement with Man Utd which affected his performances on the pitch. His stats may look good in Spalletti years but they had mostly come in moments of brilliance while he did the absolute minimum in the rest of the game. You could tell from his body language he didn't want to be there. He returned a different man from Bayern and he definitely saved his Inter legacy. Contributor in the Scudetto and MVP last season. Excellent professional who gave all he had in every match. But i can't simply erase the previous years from my memory.

My fondest memories of him are certainly going to be his fights with Cuadrado. Really entertaining stuff.

Legendary picture, somehow I remember he "had a dentist appointment" and was in pain thus his sulking impressions. :D

But ye, I'm not that downhearted of his departure, we got Gosens who before his injury (and Perisic's best season of his Inter career) was the best LWB in the league and all of us would have signed him in an instant. Now he's the clear number one and we replace Perisic with a younger & cheaper option be it Cambiaso or so.

Don't have one.
I vote that the LGI section be removed entirely, as its only purpose seems to be clogging up threads with pointless arguing about who should and shouldn't be in it.
Agree, either you set an objective set of criteria on which you choose or just rename the thread "the favorite players", coz it's an insult reading the name of the thread and then seeing who is in there, or better yet who is missing.

Grazie to Ivan for his professionalism and his excellent performances that helped lifting this club out of the darkness. I don’t blame him for wanting a new experience. Especially at his age. Maybe he can help achieve something extraordinary with Spurs under Conte (just stay away with Bastoni you cunts)

Now it’s Gosens time to remind everyone that he’s no mere backup.

Those players and Conte or Inzaghi our coach back then…

If you guys want Handa in LGI, then Brozo and Perišić are too. Otherwise nobody of this era should be in it

To me he would be LGI if he renewed… once brozo renewed he became LGI to me…
If a player stays over 5 years then at that point they are a true interista.

Handa is LGI way before Perisic. And yeah, Perisic didn't renew, his legacy at Inter wasn't that awesome even though his last 1,5 years were great. Brozovic is LGI for sure given he plays out his contract (and probably starting most of those seasons).

Don't recall either handa or brozo handing in transfer requests.

So? Was our club worth the hassle at the time? If I was in his position I would rather go somewhere else as well.

So he went to Bayern, came back and was a fucking trooper. He was working hard in defence, in attack, exercising every day

Indeed, that section is divisive, after all, it's just the forum's award anyway.
