Don't have one.
I don't think he is coming here since dybala is so close to joining us. Having lautaro, dybala and lukaku in attack next season would be a scenario too good to be true in our financial situation.

The thing i liked the most about Romelu in his time here was his attitude. He really stood out as the leader of our team. On the pitch and in the dressing room. A bit strange, because at United an now at Chelsea he strikes me more as a dissonant. The whole team loved him too i think.

With Frog an Perisic gone, we really need someone like that again.

It’s really important we have players in the squad who bleed black and blue. Handa, D’ambrosio, Skriniar, Bastoni, Barella and Brozovic seems like they do. But only the first three strike me as ‘dressingroom leaders’. A player who delivers on and of the pitch (like Perisic did) is something we are a bit short of at the moment imo.

I think he'll have gone down in his teammates' estimation, with how he left for more money, while at the same time, Lautaro, Skriniar and Bastoni haven't.

Not to say they won't still like him, but I don't think he'd still have the same level of 'authority'.

Bastoni is too young and brozo&barella are the leaders of the clown committee.

I do wonder how do other starters feel about Lukaku? Did they feel betrayed? Do they feel we can't be successful without him? Who gets the definite starting position - Dybala or Lukaku?

Betrayed? This is not the mafia, they are professional footballers who know that players come and go, pretty sure he'll be welcomed back by the players as he was pretty well liked here.

can we really know if some players don't hold a grudge against him? he did kinda ran away to Chelsea and he started being unprofessional around December, very disrespectful to Tuchel and Chelsea

we all laugh at Icardi, but Lukaku has his own issues as well

If the Tax year is Jan - Dec, doesn't that mean we sold him the previous tax year. How is he still eligible?
I don't know what you're talking about, it's still 2020 no?

So we sold him in July/Aug 2021 (tax year Jan 2021- Dec 2021). If we manage to bring him on loan regardless of it being before or after 30/Jun (tax year now being Jan 2022 - Dec 2022), how is he eligible for growth decree?

I hope it makes sense, because I'm getting confused reading it again lol.

He's eligible because he's going to pay tax for 2021 (Jan-July) as well as 2022 (July/Aug-Dec).

Not sure how this rule fully applies since you're eligible after 2+ years away, maybe you lose it only after going away for 2+ years.

Don't think anyone still speaks with Icardi. While if reports are true rom has never stopped speaking to skriniar, bastoni, brozo and barella.
He will be fine .

I don't know how much truth there is, if any, in the reports that Chelsea have asked for one of Bastoni, Skriniar or Lautaro to be included in an exchange with Lukaku.

Our one and only priority should be doing everything within the realms of possibility to keep our core players. Literally everything else comes after this mission. We would be absolute spastics to compromise this mission in order to bring Lukaku back.

It should only be considered in the event we can pull it off on extremely favorable terms. The second the parameters become even slightly inconvenient for us, either in terms of finances, or through Chelsea demanding our stars in exchange, we should walk away from the deal.

Not trying to be a fearmonger but I don't trust this management or ownership. You can bury your heads in the sand but it's a fact that Marotta has actively tried to sell Skriniar every fucking 6 months. He's already botched two renewals with Perisic and de Vrij and now Skriniar only has a year left on his contract. It would be very much like Marotta to try insert Skriniar in this deal at a valuation greater than if he were a standalone sale. That's precisely the kind of temptation I don't trust our management with.

Yeah, I feel like PSG wanting Skriniar already feels like a done deal as far Marotta is concerned. If Zhang says we need to destroy the debt and help Suning keep Inter, Marotta will do his magic dance.

Let's hope it goes the right way. Especially no selling Skriniar so we can afford one season loan for Lukaku and get some other players.

Yeah as much I don't always quite like your fearmongering ( ), I agree 100%.

Don't compromise anything to get Lukaku here.

Stop trying to sell Skriniar.

Lukaku needs to be some unbelievable added bonus to this mercato (like, we ditch Dzeko in the process) and not something we go after and do sacrifices to get him here. I already don't like it how they'd be making him our best paid player despite how he left us and the disaster of last season at Chelsea.

They can have devrij........ Would still be an upgrade for Chelsea imho...
Again giving up lauti basto or skriniar makes 0 sense as imho they are all worth more than lukaku atm. When i say we should try hard to get him i still think that we cannot lose any of skriniar. basto,, barella, hakan, brozo, and lauti in order to get him cause we d not really move forward in that scenario.

Like I said before, loved him when he was here, sad when he left, but not worth it to come back. The sacrifices are either too big or make no sense financially. Inter really has to move on.
