Also we are going to offload many contracts this summer. Perisic, Vidal, Sanchez, Vecino, Kolarov, Ranocchia. Besides, it's not like we're spending big in terms of transfer fees.

Mhki and Dybala are free agents. Bellanova could join for around 10m plus youngsters on loan. Asllani is coming on loan with option for 10m. Cambiaso could join for around 5m. The only costly operation is Bremer but even he could join only if we sell one of our starting cbs.

I thought the idea with Torino was Pinamonti + Cash 10M?

Or has Monza promotion kissed Zhang on the dick with extra 40M inbound from Sensi and Pina.....

Here's a simulation to help us figure out our ongoing transfer.
Simply check the box, and the summary will be automatically updated.
Feel free to experiment with the numbers as well, and don't worry if the formula gets messed up because I can always revert the file to its previous state.

Jesus....did you make this? Great effort if you did.

This doesnt bode well for us, too many players being sold. And depth could be a big risk coming into the year.

Nice one @pier

Not sure if we can sell Esposito and/or Satriano, but it's possible if we find 10m offers for each of them. Pinamonti for 20m is hand wrapped to Monza or whomever else wants him. There's some interest but whether we reach a 20m valuation remains to be seen. Ideally we should loan both kids away and eventually use them in the side when they mature, but we know we don't work that way.

Sensi is also leaving for sure, but again there's a valuation issue. Maybe he can only leave with a loan + option deal (to Monza for example) which gets activated if they stay up. But I don't think it's easy to get 14-15m for him at this stage, even if it sounds like a steal if he's healthy (which sounds like a joke).

De Vrij will only leave if a serious team is after him. He's not going to Newcastle to be one the first pieces of an ambitious side, though I believe they're a lock for Top 6 if they keep Bruno Guimaraes, get De Vrij and sign 2-3 other good players. He wants to go to a top team and has no necessity to leave. From Spain, I think he'd fit Atletico well but they're not interested at the moment.
Ideally we should have been able to get 40m for him but we helped destroyed his value and his mentality/reaction didn't help either, so maybe 20m at best now. He still has 3-4 years to offer at a high level.

On Dumfries, there's been interest for a while but the extent needs to be understood. Are we really getting a 40m offer? I was thinking more like 30m, but if we can get 40m then he has to go as much as I like the guy. He can improve, but we cannot get 40m from anyone else that's not irreplaceable.

Dimarco could leave if we receive a good enough offer of 20+. I'd like to keep him if possible but he definitely gets sacrificed if it becomes a necessity to sell someone to avoid selling a core player (by core I hope we all understand: Skriniar, Barella, Bastoni, Lautaro and Brozovic)

Radu will leave for sure but he has the Bologna taint now. Without that, I'd guarantee a 5m transfer, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe loan + option is the best we can find and 3m next season gives us the same 1m capital gains we'd get with 5m now.

Gagliardini could also leave if we receive a good offer (~15m I suppose) but we'll need to get a replacement. I'd like to give Agoume a chance, but he's probably going to be devoured for capital gains.

We can make some plusvalenza from Agoume as I mentioned, there's also Vanheusden, Salcedo, Pirola... and the headaches of Dalbert and Lazaro who need to be offloaded this summer!
Not sure if Vanheusden will remain with the first team, there's a higher chance we try to keep Ranocchia for a year imo.

As for Lukaku, we should explore other options. There's no point. We got our pay day, no need to retake a risk here. There are no guarantees that he'll be good here. I'd much rather give Cavani a 1 year deal (5m net?) or give Belotti a chance (3.5m net?). It would cost around 1/4 of what is demanded with Lukaku. We could even opt to go for Luis Muriel who's on an expiring deal.

Bringing Lukaku does not guarantee that Dzeko or Correa will be the ones sacrificed. It probably means that one of Barella, Skriniar or Bastoni gets sacrificed.

Dzeko would be almost impossible to offload. He wants that Scudetto badly and really has no incentive to leave. He can still be useful as long as we don't depend on him, because he's shown he cannot be depended upon.

With Correa it becomes tricky as there's interest but I don't think there's enough to warrant a bid we'd consider. Would it make sense to loan him out? That'd depends on whether or not we sign someone else after Dybala and if there's an easy trigger option.

The situation isn't so dire if we manage to offload the players we don't need and the two Dutch NT players which could give us 50m plusvalenza if rumours are true (Dumfries at 40m gives us ~30m and De Vrij at 20m gives us around ~20m as well).

Selling Pinamonti, Sensi, Pirola, Di Gregorio, Radu, Dalbert, Lazaro, Salcedo, Esposito, Satriano and Agoume on top of that could give us up to 150m in transfer funds (some of which would be used in incoming player exchanges) and 70-100m in plusvalenza, without affecting that many roster spots.

Now what I'd like and I'm hoping to see:

GK: Handanovic
GK: Onana
GK: Cordaz
3/3 first team players

DC: Skriniar
DC: Bastoni
DC: Bremer
DC: D'Ambrosio
DC: Dimarco
DC: Ranocchia (if the alternatives are the likes of Acerbi or Izzo, why not keep him?)
DC: some kid from Primavera or a cheap loan as we'll need a 7th guy with a 3 CB system
6/7 first team players

WB: Gosens (hopefully he gets inducted in the 'core' soon enough)
WB: Bellanova
WB: Darmian
WB: Cambiaso
4/4 first team players

Dimarco and D'Ambrosio can also fill up this spot whenever necessary

MC: Barella
MC: Brozovic
MC: Calhanoglu
MC: Mkhitaryan
MC: Gagliardini
MC: Asllani
MC: Hopefully Casadei
6/7 first team players

If Gagliardini is also sold, then I want Agoume there as well to compete with Casadei for the 'filler' spot and we'll definitely going to need a new mezzala, so 8 in total.

FW: Martinez
FW: Dybala
FW: Dzeko
FW: Correa
FW: not sure what we're going to be needing there. Ideally someone who's going to be the 3rd forward of the team (eg Muriel, Belotti), but with limited funds maybe we can only get a 5th ranked filler that does one thing decently for the dying minutes. Someone like Petagna who you'd throw in the box and hope for the best.
5/5 first team players

This is pretty much the best case realistic scenario, assuming we avoid selling a key player. The roster could look better but just consider that if we sell Bastoni or Skriniar their replacements would be weaker and we'll be using like 60% of those funds at best.

The WBs are relatively weak and we'd need Bellanova to explode and Gosens to pick it up from his Atalanta days. The center backs apart from the main three will not be dependable for a deep CL run, but they're good enough for most Serie A games.
Same can be said about the midfield, but the backups aren't even good enough for Serie A.

Given how our deeper position would be the forward section, we're probably not going to need to go for a striker to compete for a starting spot, which could end up being a shame. But we definitely need a new midfielder before we'll need a new striker assuming Dybala arrives.

Maybe sometime in August we see that some midfielder is available to be had on loan and we poach him.

Striker upgraded but wb downgraded.
Cb upgraded. Midfield upgraded.

Still not enough for 3 competitions.

If Dumfries go just buy Molina .
Top class right back.

I wasnt going to quote both posts.

Understood, and I get where you are coming from. The thing i dont like, is we're not adding enough quality or potential for quality. Shouldnt we add to our core so we can continue fighting for Serie A? Otherwise, lets go on the slow decline and welcome 2014 and its banter era again.

"Should" isn't the right auxillary to use under our broke ass club.

why don't we bring any Australian riches to purchase this club then? i can bet they could manage Inter better than Suning.

Because Soccer, as much as it is popular with Juniors just doesnt have a following like their other nationals sports.
Rugby League, Rugby Union (east coast - Sydney/Qld) Aussie rules (everywhere else) and Cricket dominate the news. One billionaire did invest in the A league, lasted 2 seasons and pulled out.

Not sure of the overall health of the league but i can say where i live in Australia, Perth Glory had a huge following in the early noughties and sold out the local stadium which was a huge thing. Now they havent won, played good football in so long they struggle to get 10k per game and on the verge of going broke. The owner is screaming for patronage

Aren't you guys worried about the lack of physicality in midfield with the current rumors ?
Not that i want Gagliardini , Vecino and Vidal here but you could use them in some tough/physical match ups , for example Gaglia vs Savic for the headers , Vidal vs Juve etc.
If we would be signing Xavi and Iniesta i would live with the fact that we are going full technical players but that is not the case with the likes of Mikha and Asllani

Inter stance basically right now: auto transferable for every players whose get big offer from other clubs. basically no plans for next season.
